I've been on here a long time and this has never happened to me and it seems a little odd to me, so I'll ask. I have been hit by Mr. Phoenix three times this week, twice within the past hour or two... is that a normal occurrence and I just haven't been unlucky enough to run into it that much in many years? He might pester me every other month or so in the past, which is why I am curious, I'm not even carrying what I would consider a great deal of sP on my person at this time.

The same thing happened to me a couple months back -- I had seen Sebastian once or twice in three years and then he hit me like six times in two weeks. And now he's gone back into hiding. I'm not sure what caused it, though.

Phoenix is random, and doesn't depend on how much sP you have in your pocket. When I was going for the taxation Achievements I kept nine digits in my pockets at all times and wouldn't get taxed more than once or twice a year.

About a year ago it appeared to many users his odds went up.

He's been after me a TON lately. I feel like random events aren't as random as they should be. Sometimes you don't get a certain event for a long time, but then you get it repeatedly in a short amount of time.

My experience has been similar to . I won't see a specific RE for a while, then get hit with the same one repeatedly in a short time. For example, one day I got 4 Oracle quests, then none for weeks. I always seem to get the taxation ones in clusters as well. Even things like Subeautique invites, where I won't see them very often, then get a flurry all in one day.

I am noticing this more and more now than I did before, of course, they're usually nicer random events and not let me take a shit ton of your on hand money.
