Ive have this idea, but Im not sure where it would go, Pina Park or Pika Park. Either way, i think that it would be cool to be able to bring your active pet to the park and it could pair your pet with someone simmilar in status, or you could choose to pair them by breed. They could play games together (like Rock Paper Sissors) to help build friends and maybe stats. it could be like the mistery melody where you can check your pet in once a day and they could meet two or three new pets and the owners could chat and the pets could play.
also you could compare what foods and books that the pets have in common and you could gain achievements based on how many things you have in common. (IE have one thing in common - 100 things in common, as tiers to an achievement) you could break it down into books, foods, and battle stats. Or even treasure cheasts too.
I thought of this at the dog park the other day when I took my new puppy. I think that it would help to build better bonds on subeta. And it might be fun for a summer event.
This sounds kind of like the Pokemon Day Care crossed with battle-less PvP. Not a fan of the breeding idea at all, frankly.
I'm not a fan of the chat component - not least of which because it reminds me of Towns on Gaia which quickly proved to be very difficult to moderate and we kind of already have this with the Shoutbox.
Randomly gaining a stat or gaining an item when "interacting" with someone else's pet instance would be kind of cool and cute, and I have always wanted the Park to have more in it.

I dont think that i mentioned anything about breeding. What i was trying to convey was; if you wanted your kurbi to play with another pet of the same species you could choose to match them with a play date that way.
chating would be done in the same sort of way that comments are done. Not a flash based chat, but a 'page refresh' sort of chat where you receive notifications.
I feel like this is kind of like the training center meets the lake resort, but with achievements and interactions. It dosen't have to be perminant, maybe an short event to meet other people and boost pets stats.
Ahaha you're right, reading fail! The post said "Choose pets BY breed" not "TO breed".

Sorry! Yeah, that puts a different spin on it.
I don't know how much I'd personally use it (I'd far rather have a version that included 0 chat) but it sounds interesting.
maybe there could be an option to disable chat. Or if a majority of people feel the same no chat at all. It dosent seem to be an idea that people are fond of anyway. so its all just speculation.

...if the target audience of Subeta was younger.
Yeah, on a site where the average user is below 17, this could be interesting as a social media, but since Subeta has more of a 17-24 audience, I don't see this used as much as it would take to code it.
The idea is great, but I don't think using cute little pets to socialize really is a thing for the target demographic of the site
