First saw this on the Facebook news sidebar. :( I can't believe it, even though he was 93 years old. He was an amazing actor and a very interesting person. RIP.

As Haggard's voice in The Last Unicorn he became an important part of my childhood, later I also adored him as Saruman. He was an amazing actor with a voice that always gave me goosebumps. I am going to miss him. ;-;

I was shocked to see he has died when I first saw the news on my Facebook board. We'll always remember him as Saruman, though. RIP Sir Christopher. :(

RIP Sir Christopher Lee... So many amazing roles he played. One of my favorites was Lord Summerisle in the orginal (1973?) Wicker Man movie.

I'm sad. 2015 is being a year with too much losses. You know how they say artist get famous when they die and all... I just realized why. Now that we won't see him anymore, I have the urge to watch all of his movies, specially because I knew him mostly for his Saruman performance.

I ask you 2015, please don'take Ian McKellen or Morgan Freeman or I think I'll just collapse ;-;

Honestly, the only things I know him from are LotR and his epic dabbling in metal music, but still very sad to see such a great actor go. Might have to load up Vudu an do an LotR marathon viewing over the next few days if I have time. =<

I just found out. What a long and interesting life he was able to lead. I'm glad he lived it to the fullest and could enjoy such a great run. What a legend. Rest in peace, Sir Christopher.

Strangely a few weeks ago I started watching a BBC show called Gormenghast, just because Lee was in it.

I have been having a fear the day would come, but at 93 and all the work he continuously did he truly is immortal and lived a fulfilling life.

I'm sad now. He was a great man.
