I mean, I've been doing Alexander's quests today and yesterday and I got nothing I couldn't get the other days... Small amounts of sP, rarely over 30k and items with Normal, Rare or Super Rare rarity. Actually, I'm feeling the prizes are decreased, because in a normal day I always get Rare or Super Rare items with Alexander. Besides, I've been asked for 40k+ items in 7 or 8 quests both days (and I don't have GA active).

The only difference I noticed is that those junk special books about Subeta places are popping really frequent. But that's junk, I don't want to believe that increased prizes mean junks, I rather believe I'm just unlucky. Could someone explain me which weekend quests are worth to do besides Wizard and Saggi?

in addition to the junk special books you can also get retired or donation present books I know I've gotten two of them so far. The value of sP is percentage-wise much greater, but since it's already such a small percentage of the hover-value, the increase may not be too noticeable.

As for the value of rare items that Library drops, they don't seem to stay equally valuable if it's been the WSQ two times in close succession and I attribute this to user-actions instead of the granting alogrithm. I know I'd rather have the sP from the sale rather than many of these rare items, so I try to sell them.

oh, thanks. I thought it was only possible to get rare books, never got a retired one after the quests revamps.

during the last Reading Drive many impossible to acquire books started showing up in Shop Search at reasonable prices because Alexander was WSQ for a whole week. So it's been doing that at least that long.

Right now the regional books may not be selling for much since folks who'd never touch Alexander are giving it a stab, but IME many of them they do eventually sell at decent prices. All bets are off on those if they do it three times in a row though.

Yeah, I remember that, I thought it was for normal quests. But it was easy to get the retired books, and I also remember staff said the chances of getting retired books from Alexander Quests would be lowered a lot. What I didn't remember is that retired books were only given during WSQ.

That does jog my memory-hmm you may be right about retired books thing. In that case, I've been pretty lucky these last WSQ and maybe this quest is usually pretty lousy.

Part of the problems with the cost of books for it recently is due to the wierd way that restocking was working. Nothing was showing up to restock, so the prices went up over and above the extra quest demand+usual reading demand. If the requirements are superhigh then modest rewards that would've been nice are now just breaking even.

Hell yeah, the restocking is sooo weird. There are junk items that nobody buy/sell and there were like... less than 20 in the user shops (I guess because they're not given by any quests/games), and then BAM! none in the ushops. That already occurred to me before the level 50 of Item Hunt and once in Maleria's.

The special books usually go up when it's Quentin's weekend quest. Same goes for everyone else's special weekend rewards.

Quentin's the only other weekend quest I really love not counting Saggi and the Wizard. Not only does Quentin give out the usual rewards, you also get a regular, restockable shop item, and Quentin is pretty generous with the Subeautiques.

Cinthia just isn't worth it at all. Maleria is pretty decent so is Pete. Cursed gives out good SP payments, but I seem to get more from Mori, not Nori.

It's always a good quest then! I think since the revamps I've only gotten them from Weekend Quests, but I'm not completely sure.

I am not completely sure but before the revamps I used to get RSable Subeautiques from Cursed, Library, Carl and Maleria, not being the weekend quest + Quentin being the weekend quest. Now, I only got some from Carl not being the weekend quest and Quentin being the weekend quest. I think it is possible to still get Subeautiques from Library/Carl/Maleria/Cursed (I am not talking about weekend quests) because they give out high rarity items as long as they are from r1 to r99. I usually get a lot of r99 from Maleria and Library, and high rarities from Cursed and Carl. Once I got a r99 item from Carl : Graveyard Potion. In my opinion, it is just about luck as it is random and that there are plenty high rarity items.

Yeah, Carl's still good about giving SubQs, I forgot about him, can't believe that since both of the Este Evvu pieces and the Marez Jahira piece I have came from him.

I've never seen a SubQ from the Library, not even on weekends. I suppose it's possible, but you'd think I'd see one by now.

He's not a regular quest and doesn't have a Weekend form, but Drills is also quite good about giving restockable and retired ones. But now I'm getting a little topic!

I haven't seen them ever since they revamped the quests from Library either but I would assume it is still possible as I still get super rares or even r99 from Alexander when I do his quests (prob my fav quest giver). Well, I can't really tell as I truly have lowered my daily quest rate lol. It is not a 100% verified fact but that's my point of view :P

And yes, definitely Drills ! I got also Marez stuff from him, and retired SBQs too which is great.

But yes, Alex gives out his stupid "Special Prize" books, which are pretty junky and now cheaper than most RSables. He also has a chance to give out retired books (but I feel like it's rare... I haven't gotten any this weekend, and I do about 10/15 of my quests)

Cinthia gives her "Special Prize" junk. Maleria - special prize junk + more sP Nori/Mori - special prize junk + more sP Quentin can give SubQ. Pete gives more sP.
