I've been searching for hours trying to find an excellent shockproof case for a Samsung Galaxy S4. I'm starting to get really muddled and confused as to what to go for (not to mention a headache from searching XD).

First off, I want to purchase this screen protector here. I like what I see and how it's been so excellent for so many customers. I want a superior tempered glass screen protector and this one seems to fit that bill.

However, what case can I use to go along with that that would fit and offer excellent shock absorption? This screen protector seems to fit seamlessly on the Samsung Galaxy S4.

I've seen this case here, and while there aren't any reviews on the Canadian Amazon site, there are plenty on the US site.

Is that a good one? Will it work well with the screen protector that I'm planning on getting? Are there others that someone can recommend? I'm on an immensely tight budget, so nothing more than $20, maybe $25 Canadian would be beneficial for me. I'm not really wanting a case that has an additional screen protector to it as I'm already buying one. I'm hoping for one that won't add too much additional bulk to the phone and a case that won't be difficult for the charging adapter and headphones/earbuds to fit into. The suggestion I posted is about as bulky as I want to get.

I researched them and that is one case I wanna stay away from. Far, far away. And I repeat - what happened to my phone wasn't my fault.

I saw a guy test one of the Otterboxes on a YouTube test video...Just from ear height it caused a huge ding to appear in the corner when dropped. Not a safe product :x

Otterbox, it is what I had for my samsung, iphone and now my lg g3. It is the best, I've dropped, all kinds of things and they are all fine. It is worth it to buy them.

I've never heard a bad thing about the Otterbox. I wouldn't base my views off of one guy on one video. Check out some other reviews for it. Although if you still can't stand it, maybe look into a Tech21 case. That's what I have for my iPhone 6 and I'm happy with it. Although I haven't dropped it and don't care to test it, lol. I'm really, really careful with my devices...they're like my electronic children. XD
