It's been a really long time since I've looked at my preferences page http://subeta.net/preferences.php?act=prefs I have questions about two of the options that I have enabled.

Beta: New Navigation What does that mean? What's the new navigation?

Aggregated News Feed I don't know what this means either. Help?

The "new" navigation had actually been around so long I don't even remember when it was introduced. But essentially there was the "old" navigation which had slightly different tabs at the top and was organized a bit differently than the "new." I think Keith said as some point (a really long time ago) that we should get used to the new one because the old was going away. Idk why it's still considered beta, considering it's been years. I find the new one more useful anyway, and I think most people probably use it.

As for the aggregated news feed, that's for the "There is new news!" and "There is a new announcement!" thing you get at the top of your screen when there's something to see. Aggregating it means that the announcements (which technically take place in the announcement forums) show up in your news feed. If you turn it off, announcements will not show up on the news page for you (and I'm assuming you won't get the announcement bar at the top of the page either, but I don't know this for sure since I always have mine aggregated. Someone else might know this for sure though).
