I just tried to get into the Suggestions forum, but I got redirected to a page where it said 'You can't go in there until you've agreed to the Community Guidelines!" or something like that. 'Community Guidelines' was a link, so I followed it and scrolled down to see if I had to agree to anything; I clicked some boxes and now I guess everything's working fine again. There was a link to the guidelines posted (in the GA forum maybe?) awhile back, I don't know why they just implemented it now, but I just assumed it was applied to everyone, mainly so new users can agree but we all had to also.
i'm pretty sure it's something everyone got if they had yet to agree to the community guidelines it's just making everyone agree to not be a blatant asshole

That seemed completely backwards to me: implement new community guidelines with little to no forewarning then "Oh, news post!"

That's what staff does. Implement something and then eventually make a news post OR make a news post for something that doesn't work yet.
