I was taken by surprise recently to find out Pacifist had moved up to t10 without me realising it. I need to really update her set. I can beat Hustler and below (Assuming I can steal some good things from him) so I'm not doing toooo bad but I could definitely be doing a lot better I think. Here is my current set I've been using

I recently discovered I do have a trident of the banished one, so I do plan on getting that in my set. I also have a swashbuckle, which I can't use for another tier, but that's waiting. Also in my armory but not default set are the following (I know I need to combine my wands and get that in my set, but I've been dragging my feet because I'm secretly trying to get a hoarder achievement and two items are better than one????? Tell me to just shut up and do it already) (I also think I know I'm getting to the point where one single default set isn't necessarily good enough to beat most opponents and I need to get better at just ... shuffling weapons based on challengers) ( I thought this would be easier than using tumblr asks for advice hope you don't mind I also hope you don't get double pinged because I had to edit)

I heavily recommend Afterschocks scroll, best all around for the price (until it shoots back up in price). Transform your trident into a blessed trident. However if you have both in your set, the replica knocker becomes useless due to some imposed penalty (someone might have to confirm since i dont have a trident). So, in that case, swap it out. Yeah lol, merge the wands, though it's not technically necessary.

General comments: Get a 100% freezer (eg Gorgun is in the battle shop if you have tokens for it) Get another high % healer (eg Reviver of the lion or one ring)

Beyond that, it's really what you are willing to spend or just wait and train because t11+ weapons are expensive.

In addition to what said, at this point, diversifying your armory is helpful. Soma tablets are a helpful addition for sure. You can probably also invest in more healing items with notable attack and defense such as Prodigy Staff or Plague Claw.

Andrew: You can use BLESSED trident and knocker together without penalty.

thanks for the advice. I went ahead and bought the aftershocks scroll for 22m and I picked up the gorgun from the battleshop and bought the plague claw. I may still try to get the prodigy staff but I'm going to let my bank account recover a bit first. In a week or two I should be able to afford the one ring to add to my set assuming it doesn't go up much in price. Reviver is unpriced and I can't quite afford the soma tablets right now . We'll see what happens.

I should have asked before I bought anything but will the aftershocks scroll and plague claw be useful for a while? I mean I know I'm far off from t11 so I don't have to worry about much upgrading for a while I hope.

i would swap in the aftershocks scroll for your divine denizhen immediately. It will useful forever. Only better options imo, are skelly scroll, maelstrom, mana surge which are 20-50x the price.

I can sell you a prodigy staff for a decent price (like 10m?) if you are still wanting one when you have funds.

If you have the battle tokens or are anywhere close, go for the intricate energized helmet instead of the gorgun for a freezer. You get that from buying the components and combining them with the abox 5th win prize. It makes GE easier and is much better really.

thanks for the advice. I'm a bit short on very hard tokens so I'll use the gorgun while I try to earn some more and hopefully get building soon!

Honestly the wand you have now is good enough to last you until you get the helmet. It has a high freeze rate and does more icons than the gorgun. Just keep up bqs and you'll have your tokens in no time :)

Apparently the cheap ones all got bought up. :/ but even at 100mil its still cheap for what it does, just not as cheap as terra focujin that people would otherwise get.

But you have to weigh your options. IE your budget, goals, etc etc.

Okay, okay, while I have everyone here, what mods would be useful to add? Honestly, it's not something I've delved very much in to, and what little bit I've done ... I think I've just boosted healing.

I use 2 parched baguette, 1 singed baguette, 1 critical strike tear for everything with four mod slots. if you only have 3 slots, take out the singed. That works for pretty much everything, general purpose setup even if they don't freeze o-o the only exception is against the impossible forj... but that's a special case.

I'm not sure about the one ring. I have one in my armory, but never use it. Mainly because it heals 1000 flat, so it's nice for tier 5-6-7, but beyond that you start getting too much HP for it to be usefull I think. So a percentage healer like the reviver is much more usefull, because it keeps healing tons even if your HP increases as your pet grows. It's your choice ofcourse, but I think the ring will not last you very long, since you're already tier 10.

If you have a choice between Reviver and one ring, go with reviver.

For aftershcok scroll if its going to be a significant sP burden to you, it could fluctuate a lot. If opponents ever get reset, people only need 1 of them, also there will be multiple people who win one and will never need it, or there will be people that have multiple pets that can beat him.

Of the scrolls currently released though, it will probably almost always be the cheapest one for the value. The other comparable scrolls are mostly on event challengers who have been retired.

I was thinking of this thread today and I think a good solution for modding would be to have trident modded with a mod set you will most often use (I like having at least 3 parched baguettes on it, so something like 4 parched or 3 parched 1 singed or 3 parched 1 crit helps). Swashbuckle, however, you can mod out for opponents that you will want to change the mods for. Perhaps balancing it out that way could do it (or at least that's what I do).

so for the swashbuckle you're suggesting to swap mods for different opponents based on their weakness? I got one parched (for now I'm trying to save my tokens for an intricate helmet as suggested above) but I did toss a critical on each of my other attack weapons.

It's really more of a way I can think of to conserve mods. Just so you can get BQs in while being able to beat other opponents.
