Seriously, this is starting to get annoying. Bring back timestamps, it's useful for bidding and competitions and in general posting and editing posts and I just hate not being able to see when a post was edited unless the person adds in the word edit.

This would be really nice :L I've missed this, even for my own reference (like pinging buysellcw, if I forget to update the date in my post I have no idea when time is up dude)

This seems like another glitch that would be simple to fix.

I miss this as well. I thought it was just a mess up that it wasn't showing anymore.

LOL I actually don't mind, because I type my responses really quick, and then find a million+ grammar errors, so I'm like "phew no one can see how stupid I am" when I have to edit it. Though I usually try to add the edit scode when I actually add new information.

But yea, I can see how annoying this is.

I'm with -- I usually only edit to fix grammar or spelling mistakes and having the EDITED AT 4:51 stamp on it just makes me feel embarrassed, lol. Don't punish me for my poor typing/general idiocy.

I generally like not having the time stamp as well since I also like to edit posts for grammatical errors, but as a CW releaser I will say that having the time stamp can be incredibly helpful. With auctions and multi-item releases, it helps to keep everyone honest when there's a time stamp involved. It's a real problem when a user goes back and edits their post to look like they originally bid higher on something or claimed a slot on an item just to pass it off like it was always there. It doesn't happen often nor has it happened to me directly, but there are definitely posts on boards that prove this has been an issue for some.

I would love to have the timestamp back. It's a bit weird and can be quite confusing sometimes. At first I didn't mind the change but now.....Please bring it back!

The timestamp is super useful. I'd love to see it brought back even though I'm more fearless now with editing my posts for grammar, etc. xD

For the sake of auctions, slot claiming and just not feeling like you're going barmy because someone is going back and editing their posts to make it look like they were always saying x or y... please bring this back.

Well post numbers actually still exist, like if you press the link to a post button there still exists a post number for your post and you can link someone to a specific post, etc.. so it's not necessary to have the actual number visible.

But yes, I would like to see posts.

As for people who are editing their posts a few minutes later, no one really minds (unless they say no editing posts in a competition, but I know this can be very frustrating in terms fo selling situations because lets say I'm selling some items in the forums (like the regular advertising forums) and someone posts at 10:20 and the next person at 10:30 (asking for different things than the person above) but the person above edits their post to include items the next person asks about (at like 10:40) and the seller wasn't online to check the posts etc.. the first person would ultimately get the items they asked for "after" the second person. And I'm not saying people do this on purpose (or maybe some do who knows) but either way I find timestamps just easier to keep people honest.

I don't know if it's not working due to a bug (which is what I thought at first) but I think maybe they just never bothered to fix it, but I want it back.

Ultimately, I edit my posts sometimes for mistakes or things I've forgotten to add too but I don't really care if others see that I've edited it, and I don't care if others do the same. We all make mistakes or miss things the first time around.

The timestamp always made me feel uncomfortable but that's just me...

Generally there are more reasons for than against the timestamp of course so yeah, bring it back and let me feel bad again. X'D
