Every time I click on the create pet tab in my pets section it keeps taking me to the adopt section and I get no options to customize a pet. Is this a glitch or do I have to be a member for a specific period of time? I started playing Subeta a few days ago

If you choose the species you want then you click on "Adopt your new pet!" and it'll let you name it and choose gender.

that doesn't help. I want to make a pet, not adopt one. I'm always seeing these custom pets around and I would quite like to make one myself

That's just what they call it. To actually adopt pets you go to "Adopt R US" in delphi beach but to create one you go the the "adopt a pet" page!

[Edit] Oh, I see what you mean I think. To create a "Custom" pet you need a pet overlay (200x200 pixels) and you can upload that overlay here (if you click upload it won't take your money but instead it takes you to the rules/guidelines page for the overlays). It costs 500csc though. Some users sell or make free overlays in either the "Art Market" forum or the "Profile and Graphics Market" forum. Or if you want a custom profile go to your pet's "Edit Description" page in the pet's dropdown list and then put in the css and/or html you'd like to use to create it (the pet story goes in that box as well). With pet profiles you can also have an unofficial pet overlay but it won't show up on your pet anywhere other than it's profile. Though if you're looking to enter the pet spotlight there are rules for pet profiles which you can find here. (not sure what you were referring to with custom pet still so I gave two answers XD but I hope that helps a bit more!)

You can't make a custom pet. You have to adopt a pet that currently exists on site and then you can upload a custom overlay for them for 500 CSC
