I'm going on a two month long study abroad trip in a couple weeks. Do I need to go through any special process to prevent my account from being deactivated due to inactivity?

your account only gets deactivated after a year. you should be fine. even after that year you can still log in and reactivate everything on your account again.

It's a little bit of nothing to freeze yourself and get it unfrozen when you're done. I had to do it when my mother was very ill in 2013. You literally just click a button to freeze and bing, you're done. To unfreeze, you log back in and follow the steps put before you. You have a year to do any of that and you can freeze again if necessary. c:

I was gone for a very extended time and just leaving my account as is, not freezing it, was perfectly fine. :)

& Okay. I don't think I'll do anything since it's only two months then. Thank you!

your account won't even get deactivated after a year. people can take your pet name/username but if that happens subeta will let you change it to something you want for free.
