Vesnali is one of my favorite event on this site, along side Lumenieve. I was revisiting Esther's shop just now, buying a bunch of items I didn't get during the event. So I'm shopping and shopping, getting annoyed (not really, just a little) that all the things I want, I have to go one at a time. So I got to thinking, wouldn't it be neat if we can select up to a certain amount items we want from the shop and then hit pay button. Kinda like the gift giving feature... 5 items per package. And with what I'm thinking, there could be a limit, like 5 at a time.... this also could apply to Masquerade and Lumenieve. Masquerade would be just like vesnali - pick up to a certain amount and then click buy. With Lumenieve, instead of a drop down list of items to choose from to give to a certain person. Say you wanna gift a friend a bunch of gifts, Lay out items like maybe coming from your inventory, select up to 5 items and send them off to your friend, same with you being a SS for someone. Now if this is off the wall thinking, help me work these ideas out. Are they a good idea but a bit rough in the suggestion? And I can't think of any other events this would apply to either.

You can just right click and buy the item, that's what I do. Or middle/wheel click or whatever. It loads the purchase in a separate tab, which keeps double purchases from happening, and that way you can buy more than one at once without having to load the whole page.

click the buy button with either the middle button/wheel of your mouse, which opens it in a new tab and purchases it. Or, if you don't have that setup on your mouse, click the right mouse button, choose 'open link in new tab,' and it opens the purchase window in a new tab. You've purchased the item, and you didn't have to reload the entire page :)

Or you could press CTRL + click the mouse and that should work, as well.

If I'm thinking about this correctly, then as long as this was limited to event shops (where restock/limited quantity isn't a factor), then I would personally love to see this feature added. It'd conveniently allow you to minimize the amount of time you have to spend purchasing items, yet the convenience wouldn't hinder other players' experiences or risk breaking the economy. So there's no problems I can think of with it. Thumbs up from me.

Open the buy links in a new tab. It's way less annoying than only being able to buy 5 items at a time anyway

My only concern with it would be the people who end up with double purchases. Suddenly it's not a double of one item, it's a double of five items, and they're out 150 coins or whatever.

Another alternative (in addition to what Life was describing) is to hold down 'ctrl' on your keyboard and click Buy. It should open a new tab without switching from the main page of items. :) Hope this helps!

This idea might be fun, but mouse or keyboard control make it mostly unnecessary. It's a low priority thing, to my mind.

Wow no. Fix the double-buying issue first, then consider things like this.

If buying lots of items is an issue for you, definitely try the control+click (or command+click if you have a Mac). I buy at least two of every item, so I do a lot of buying and this is how I do it. Though I would never ever ever use a mass-buying system, because fuck if I'm out 1000+ extra tokens from buying everything from one year. Oh. No.

I'm going to have to say no on this. As everyone else already said, this is an easy way to buy multiple items "at once." I think it would be such a pain to have to code this for the shops. And I would be super pissed if we could only buy 5 or so items at a time. The way I do it now is using the method everyone else said, and I go down the list clicking all the things I want until I run out of points. So I usually end up buying 20+ items all at once.

Nothing wrong with your idea but what about a shopping cart like in the cash shop? That way you could buy more items at once, see how much you would spend for what you want and have to option to remove items before buying.

I also think it would be really cool if the event shops had a "buy one of everything" option. Lots of people like buying stuff for galleries so that would be quite handy ^_^

great ideas. And would make shopping all around easier for shoppers... well, us. I didn't think about a cart for items. Actually, I think that's where I was heading to. You just finished my thought! And I like that idea more than a limit on each purchase.

However.... what about shopping from main shops, or user shops. I think we can avoid these two without making a clusterf*ck out of the whole idea. This idea is not an 'all or none' suggestion, afterall, not all ideas are black and white. Sometimes ideas come in all shades of gray.

- yay glad you liked the cart idea, I didn't want to step on your toes ;) I definitely think it should only be event shops. It would have to be shops like those with unlimited stock and not restocking.
