So I've infected myself with some choice zombie juice and now have full access to the alchemy alcove. I've gotten real cozy with Weeper and Zosi while I fumble around with making new and exciting goods from the zombie ghetto. I even made a new shop stocked exclusively with the stuff I turn out!

There's one snag though that's really bothering me. And it's regarding the Layer Cards.

I'm mainly figuring out recipes through trial and error, as well as skimming an offsite item directory when I need an idea of what way to go or what's a good item I'd like to use or sell. And while I'm getting all kinds of mileage out of cards like Head, Chest, Back and Backdrop, it seems to me there's a lot more cards that DON'T result in ANYTHING. Stuff like Fullbody, Held, Ankles, Neck, etc.

Am I missing something? Can I combo layer cards? Are there super secret foot items I'm just not getting? Does my alchemy level have anything to do with this? Or is there just a big glut of useless or implemented-at-a-later-date layer cards?

It's that :P There haven't been any new items created in a long time because something is broken, they can't add new items. So there are no wearables for some layers. [edit] If you would like to see a list of all the possible alchemy items, this is one.

Aw man! I was hoping that wasn't it. Even sadder that they won't come into play for the foreseeable future. Maybe someday; I can dream.

And haha, yeah, that's the exact list I was using. Thank you, though! It took me ages before I pieced together you can search the notes.

Was there an official statement on the alchemy goods being busted? Not that I don't take your word for it. I just wonder what the problem could be and why they don't just, I dunno, delete/retire all the useless cards for now.

I don't think so. I've just seen it stated on the forums when other users have asked for new items. I think it was who said it? Or maybe xD They're the ones that do items.
