Ah Fuck. Mobile fucked this.

It's my BIRTHDAY!! For my birthday I am taking the teenager who lives here on the biggest adventure we have ever been on. Today we are leaving Northern Wisconsin and taking the greyhound to Austin Texas to go to the Austin Psych Fest - Levitation!! I am nervous about traveling from the bus to the festival as I am disabled with low vision but other than that I am really excited. We get to camp all weekend and most importantly we will get to see the 13th Floor Elevators! They are doing a reunion show for the 50th anniversary of their founding.

Then. THEN! We are going to Houston so I can finally meet my Bestie ! Omg. Omg omg. We have been friends since ... Um a long time. She will be the first SUBETA person I am meeting. We get to stay with her and her husband for a few days and do ALL THE THINGS and will start our journey home on the 14th, arriving back home the afternoon of the 15th.

Is that all, you ask? Why no! Then on the 20th I fly to Oakland California for a very important visit with a very important friend for a very important experiment. I am so giddy over this you guys. Giddy. Joyous. Excited. Delighted. I never thought my life would ever ever have any chance of being this awesome. I am floored but so thankful. Come celebrate with me! Life is glorious. I am so happy.

Bonus. The teenager who lives with me. She is the best kid in the whole world.

- I totally did. We traveled and traveled and then we camped and almost died from the heat but on Sunday - MOTHER'S DAY TOO BY THE WAY AND ME A MOM - we got to see the 13th Floor Elevators reunited for the first time in forty-seven years and i yelled and danced and sang and oh my god.

Also !! I got to meet who is AWESOME and Mr. Margene who is quite nice and we took the teenager to the zoo and natural science museum where I nerded out HARD at the dinosaurs :D and the teenager had a butterfly land on her and IT WAS SO MUCH FUN

I just got home a few hours ago and am leaving on a very important trip in four days so I spent the evening unpacking and making preliminary packing for the next adventure - a solo one - but the teenager and her dog have to get packed to stay at a friend's while I'm away and omg. Life is just SO AWESOME right now I'm just giddy with delight and joy.
