They've dwindled down to almost nothing. I do the 9 quests I'm able to do and am now lucky to get 2 for the day. That's not right. Is it because of Vesnali? Will they come back up to normal after it's over? There are still 2 high priced Spring items I'd love to buy but at this rate the Summer items will be in before I can.

Oh i've been wondering the same. I was down to 150 quest points the moment of the sprint release for the quest shop, and now 2 weeks later i'm at 190, and I do a lot of questing. So that's for 15 day days of quests about 2-3 (2,6qp if i counted right) quest points a day while doing heaps of quests :s
some extra info: this seasons items cost 530 item for all of them, that's an average of 53 points for 1 item. At a ratio of 2,5 qp a day that will take 212 days to earn the points to buy everything for just the season. A season is only 91ish days long.
I want to add that QP have been a reason for me to do quests. They are this extra reward i'm willing to go a bit further for, pay that little extra on a quest because of the chance i get a point.
[edit] Because I feel like 2 QP a day is low and I feel like my math might be off, i'll track for the day to see how much I actually spot on get.
Wiz: Done before i started tracking. Maleria: 15 quests done, 1 QP Cinthia: 14 quests done, 1 QP Nori: 12 quests done, 1 QP Quentin: 15 quests done, 2 Qp Pete: 11 quests done, 1 QP ... will be continued
6 QP on 67 quests so far

Keith intentionally adjusted it. Quest points are now meant to be pretty rare, apparently.
There was a thread in Help & Questions recently asking about this, but at the time people were calculating getting quest points about 15% of the time and it definitely seems lower than that now :/ At 15% you can still manage the seasonal items easily. Not so much anymore, and that's crap.
I get not wanting people to have massive stores of points saved up, but that shit's going to happen. Not everyone will want every seasonal item (or every new item, or whatever) so there will be extra points around. But you should be able to earn enough points for every seasonal item within the current season. Because if we keep getting new seasonal items, no one is going to be able to keep up otherwise since there's never a break with no new items for people to save up for the next round of seasonal ones.
So, staff wants to move away from putting masses of new items into the Main NPC Shops and instead has planned to focus on releasing stuff in alternative shops e.g. the Quest Shop, right? What exactly is now the reason for making Quest Points so hard to get?
While I'm personally not really affected at the moment with my 1,400+ points saved up I can only imagine how frustrating it must be from a new players' point of view especially with some Quest Shop items costing 50 Points and more.
I'm surprised they were adjusted. I thought I read a post from Keith saying that there aren't many people who have hoards of Quest Points. I wasn't aware pts were supposed to be rare.
I'm one of the people who have over 700pts hoarded with nothing to spend them on (despite buying all the books and wears that are released). I guess right now I can't really express any kind of negative opinion about the rate at which they're handed out being changed. But I can imagine that if I didn't have a hoard of the pts and did really want something that cost a lot of pts only getting a few a day would be frustrating. :(
I hope "Quest Points are rare" will be taken into account when seasonal items are released. The "Tea Party" items that were released last month all cost between 2-14 pts and that doesn't seem so bad at all. I'm not sure when they retire but they seem manageable so hopefully that's a theme that'll continue.
I had a hoard of quest points, but I spend it all on the spring release :s And now i'm unable to rebuild the hoard for when summer comes around.
I just kept questing and spending my usual amounts per quest because i didn't know there had been changes on quest points. If I had known they got lowered i would have spend less money on quests just to complete them for quest points. Now there are hardly any quest points, what's the point of spending all that time and money on quests? So once vesnali is over and i don't need to generate heaps of page views, bye quests.

I definitely hoard points. I have over FOUR THOUSAND.
I really don't like this change, even more so that it wasn't announced.
Is it to prevent people from hoarding? Because even with it being rare, that won't stop people from hoarding them
I hope this is just some kind of bug,and not some thoughtless change.Because all its doing is hurting the users, and its not going to stop hoarding. There are some pricy QP items I wanted but can't get right now, because of hardly getting points.Either stop making certain QP items high priced to begin with,or increase the flow of QP.
While we're on the subject, why are the Forum points suddenly MIA?Is it for the same reasons for QPs?Smh!
Like a good neighbor, stay over there!

It's not a bug. Keith has made it clear too many were getting around according to him
I personally think that QP were poorly established from the get-go. Should have been "you get 1 point after X qusts completed today" not MOAR RNG BULLSHIT.
or maybe they should've stuck those items in the NPC for higher Sp.Either ways, this has gotten messy.
Like a good neighbor, stay over there!

They are planning to increase quest shop's prices for future releases as well
I DON'T REMEMBER KEITH'S EXACT POST but yeah. I'm pretty sure it was in the plans as well.
Nailed it.

Fewer quest points and higher quest shop prices? What a pain in the butt :( I just spent my 100+ quest points getting the rest of the books I needed and now I'm struggling to get back up past 50.
That seems to be the plan for everything now. Give us less currencies/sp, fewer ways to make said $$$, and increase the price of everything.
Creating inflation is not necessarily the best way to fix every aspect of an economy :x
Why arent staff even trying to address the actual mammoth in the room that is causing this problem : CWs?
I don't think forum points were messed with (at least not as drastically as quest points), I've still been getting them.
Am really not happy about this. I don't always have time to do all the quests, and I'm definitely not seeing many points coming my way. I have a ton of things left to buy from the spring stuff, and I'm not going to make it. I agree that if we do most of the quests everyday we should be able to get enough points to buy one of all of the seasonally released items.
The only quests I do now are the 5 for shinwa and the 15 wizards quests (soon to be 10 cause I see little point in a gold account anymore with this + restock changes) sooo what? I'm not supposed to get able to get the items? You want me to buy csc to sell for sp so I can buy the items that way? Get f***ed if I'm being honest.
If things keep changing like this all i'll be doing is coming here doing my 10-15 quests seling the coins/shinwa items and buying csc with sp to buy CW's cause thats all thats keeping me interested atm
Sorry to rant up your thread :P but I'm just sooo... RAAAGHR
I think it's ridiculous to lower the rate just because some people have over 1,000 QP. The only reason why I've got over 1,000 is because there's very little in the shops that interest me.
Make the quest points harder to get, raise the prices on the item, this makes me want to say the hell with the quests. Its very time consuming to try to get all the quests done and than not get any quest points for doing them, sounds to me like a waste of time.
