I just wanted to say that I didn't think I was going to be able to do much on the site at all when I had to start playing only by phone. Sure, there are some things that are more difficult, and some things I can't do at all, but I've been amazed at how much I CAN do from my phone! Thank you for making the site phone user friendly. :-)
If you switch to desktop mode, then yes, it is great the stuff that can be done.
The mobile version is practically useless.
It really depends what for kind of phone you use. Right mow I'm on my (Windows) phone and I'm able to do more then an Android phone (I used to have one) and I'm not using the desktop mode.

I only use the Mobile Version if I want to check my events (and even that kinda sucks because you can't delete the events, ugh) apart from that I stick with the desktop version.
Agree that desktop version is better when on my phone then mobile. Mobile won't let me reply to comments on profile or email. Glad they give option for desktop.
Agreed...I use desktop version. Just happy I can do as much as I can with it. :)
We're working really hard on making this a much better experience. You can see a more recent example here (video - so I posted it to tumblr) which means that we can make things that aren't super important (especially if you're coming from a mobile device) like NPC images vanish as the screen gets smaller.

One thing that really bugs me about the mobile version of the site is that I can't battle with it, I have to switch over to the desktop version in order to do my battle quests.

lol Amen to that! :D I too am in love with how easy the site is to use on my phone (minus the wardrobe) when used in desktop version.
