I have no idea if this is something I can get anything done about but here goes--I'm finally biting the bullet to finish all 100 item hunter quests for the achievement. I usually give up around level 65, when it costs way more than the payout I will get back. I'm on level 99, and a search of the shops reveals that this retired beanbag is not on sale. Or up for trade. Has this happened to anyone else before? Is there any way to get the level reset with an item that's actually obtainable?

You can go to the Item Hunt forum in Games and ping # IHH and see if anyone has one stashed in a gallery/vault somewhere. But it's late, which is not really a great time to do high-level Item Hunt since less people tend to be online, so best of luck to you D:

item hunt is supposed to ask specifically for items that are rare, which includes ones that are not available on shop search, when on the higher levels. I'll guess to say this has happened to basically every single person who's ever got that high, except for people who only played during the item pricing fiasco.
