So, I'm an older player turned newbie again because I've not been online in ages. I've been participating in the Vesnali event, and I got the Fractured Onyx Flask to use the hair. Well, come to find out, it's just a wig type deal and not a new hairstyle, which is fine! But. Now I can't get my Violet and Black Polka-dot Bow to attach anymore. :'c

It shows up just fine in beta wardrobe, but then anywhere else on the site I get this:

It even acknowledges that I have it attached, but it isn't showing.

I've tried a multitude of different hairstyles (actual hair, not the wig), and I've tried unequipping and re-equipping it. I'm out of ideas! Does anyone see a mistake I've made, or have a suggestion?

Silly suggestion, but try saving it in the regular wardrobe

Try refreshing the cache (CTRL+SHIFT+DEL should take you to the page to do so). Subeta's been extremely obnoxious lately about ever showing any changes to avatars lol. If it doesn't show up after that, it might be an issue of how many layers you have. I can't recall how many the beta wardrobe gives you by default but if you equip enough items, your items in that layer should turn red and you can click the INFO box and buy a new layer for 75k sp. c: If that doesn't help, then it's just the beta wardrobe being... the beta wardrobe. :c It's very glitchy.

Are you wearing too many items on your head layer? On my kindle so I can't check which layers the items are in but you're a non-GA user so you can only wear two items per layer. The notice in the beta wardrobe might not be working for you for some reason

Do you have a gold account? If not, you can only have 2(each layer) head items, which that would be 3. If I am not mistaken.

Your wig and horns will both be head layer items. In which case, you'll need an extra layer slot to accommodate the bow, as well. Standard users (your blue icon) only get 2 items per layer. In the "normal" wardrobe it gives you an error message ("Oops! You are wearing too many _____ items. You'll need to take one or more off before you can wear that!"), but in the beta wardrobe it's about 50/50 for me whether it gives any sort of error (and when it does, the layers in question turn red and an 'INFO' bubble appears - clicking on it will prompt you to buy another slot, on the right side menu).

Maybe that's the issue here?

Ahhh, I wasn't aware of the head item limit! I wasn't using the regular wardrobe because it, surprisingly, seems more buggy than the beta version for me. Or maybe that's just because I haven't been on in so long that I forgot how to navigate it. But that has to be it - thank you all for your input/advice/direction! I really appreciate the assistance. ♥

No problem. It's EVERY layer, just so you know going forward. Gold account users get 3 per layer, but it's not very clear actually in the wardrobe.

As for navigation, I can't get most of my items to even show on my account in the beta wardrobe - I have over 120 pages of items in the normal wardrobe, but the beta wardrobe will bring up usually about 9-13 pages total. It's a necessary evil with the new backdrops, because you CAN'T move the "body" layer in the normal wardrobe (it didn't exist before), but neither are a perfect system.

Goodness gracious. That sounds like a pain. I suppose I'll juggle back and forth and find what works best for me. I don't have many items thankfully. @ But thank you again! I definitely need the tips.
