Not sure why this is causing me so much anxiety... but, everyone here, for the most part, has such awesome simple usernames, and I didn't think to do that when I created my account. I feel like my account looks more "sloppy" with such a long username. No offense to others with long usernames too. Should I change my username to a simple one worded name? What do you think about my username? Does it even matter? I am being quite irrational I know, but I feel like others might think less of me...

I doubt anyone would think less of you because of your username, tbh and I don't really think it looks "sloppy" or anything. But if you don't like it then I would change, since you're the one that has to live with it.

Only change your username if you want to. I looked on your profile and it says you love key lime pie, so you shouldn't have to change from something you love because of what other people might think. Sure, short usernames are cool but I've never thought anything bad about the people who don't have a short one. I rarely give it a second thought beyond reading the username and remembering who that person is, etc.

It defines you, in a way. You like Key Lime Pie. Why not let everyone else know? :D It doesn't feel sloppy to me.

Honestly, don't worry about what others think. The few people here that would judge people over their username aren't worth your time anyway. c: If you like it and it's not offensive, why change it? I've changed my username but because I was personally unhappy with it, not because of what others think. I doubt most people even know the character I'm named after but it makes me happy to have this username, so I'm proud of it either way. c: Whether you change it or not, stick with something that reflects you!

Nobody really thinks twice about usernames, but if you want to change it then change it. Perhaps shorten it some by changing it to keylimepie instead?

Never ever do anything because of what people think, but because it makes you happy. In the end people are always going to talk, so just make yourself happy! Your username is fine! I had to change mine because I had trouble receiving stickers, pings, and other similar things. So I changed it not because of what others think but because it gave me problems! Why? It ended with a dot, it used to be Aiko. Now it's MUCH LONGER and I happen to love it. =D

I agree with the previous posts! What matters is what you think, not everyone else. Everyone has sligthly different tastes and preferences and that's a good thing. :-) To cite a signature I read somewhere around the forums: Be yourself. Everyone else is already taken.

To me for user names it's more important to be able to remember them. I look at yours and I don't think it looks long at all.

The people I like most are the ones I can actually find again. I'll forever remember you as that person who likes key lime pie so it's PERFECT. It creates a connection that can actually be recalled later, and a way to keep users distinct. (also as an added thing I thought about after I posted this: To me long names never look cluttered. The only thing that feels cluttered (to me) are random numbers in names)

There are for example a ton of foxes, a truckload of wolves, and more cats than I can remember on most sites I'm on, and I still respond to my old handles because that's how people got to know me, but something that you like, and you know you like, and people will remember you like is in my opinion? The best :)

Also mmmkeylimepie is more memorable to me than just keylimepie.

One is descriptive the other is just pie.

Also think of how many other poor users you'll get to go out and make or buy pie because they look at your username and start thinking of how tasty it is! .... Like me. I have no pie though right now. Very sad. I may have to pick some up next time I go out.

When I started here, my UN was BlacFyre. Since then, I've changed it several times. Subeta's awesome like that - you can change your name if you really feel terribly awkward. c:
