Just wanted to give the art department props for giving us lots of beautiful non-wearable items this Vesnali. There are so many gorgeous items with some really fun treasure chest potential. And there are so many foods! So many beautiful foods!
Even a lot of the wearables have useful-for-TC item images, and I think that's something folks will appreciate! The floral arrangements, the tea cups and sugar bowls and all those wrblz, and all the hay bales and farm equipment... Great stuff. I love when wearables have item images that aren't just "a shirt", or "shoes" -- it gives the items more versatility!
I'm hoping that if there's another release, the items follow this trend. Very pleased so far.
Yes! I opened up the shop and honestly, Vesnali has always been my favorite theme, but usually releases some of the worst items, imo. I just don't like the style, but this year I think I'm going to try and get everything. The effort put into all the items is just astounding and I wouldn't mind less items being released this year than previous years if they kept up with this quality.
That being said, I'm not sure if it's relevant to the OP, but I was kind of disappointed to see the sheer amount of items being released and being put in the shop alone. I love that events have been cut down to a week and I love that coin rates, I think, have been adjusted to give us a bit more per flower than before, but it still kind of sucks that we get so many items released to the event shop so I'm struggling to work just as hard before, but in a shorter time frame. Of course this feeling might just be that, like I said, this is the first year where I actually WANT stuff from the shop, rather than just needing stuff.

I have to agree. My favorite event is vesnali because I love the spring things (flowers, bunnies, etc). But the art quality on the items this year, wowwee!! They are very beautiful! And I also agree I love that even if it is a wearable that item image is something that could be used for TCs. I love that. :)

Seconded, basically. Thought I would just skip Vesnali this year - haha, nope! I love both the variety and versatility of almost all the items this year. :D Especially loving the flower arrangements, the teas, cakes, and the watercolor backgrounds (! !!! <3 )
Now the only problem is, can lil' ol' reclusive me get all the necessary coins and, oh yeah, the new flowers for my gallery in time. Yikes.
I believe Amber mentioned in the news that this is the only release to the shop, but that there would be more items in other ways. ^^
But as to the items themselves, as I did in the news post, I just want to thank the Subeta Team for taking all the suggestions that we gave. I am so happy with all these items! So much TC Fodder! ;A; And the wearables are lovely too! So perfect!
The items are so lovely this year, even the non wearable ones. The teapots, in particular, stand out to me. The wearable items are great, the draped umbrellas are really pretty, and the backgrounds are stunning! But the farm animals are my favorite. The art department did wonderful work, thank you.
All of the items are absolutely gorgeous, from the wearables to the foods, and more! Big kudos to the people that worked on this.
(Sort of hoping there won't be a second wave because my coins and flowers will not be able to handle it! Does anyone know if there will be one?)

[Muffled screaming] I feel like I noticed all my kouhais.
I really love this years items but there are so many things I want for TCs and to put in the wardrobe I'm going to need to start finding more flowers!
Also is there a missing wig? I notice that the flask/fruit wigs seemed to match up for female/male but there's no male side for the
Omg, the minute I saw the Teelis, I knew I needed them all. Vesnali is my favorite Subeta holiday. Always so many bird items, which I love to collect for my gallery. Also, butterflies. Love butterflies for Greece's TC!
...
There won't be a second wave. :) I wanted to get all the items for the shop out at once so you guys could plan how many coins you needed to get in the week.
We are going to be releasing some other spring-vesnali like items (some more user suggestions at that) during the week though! :)
I am literally buying nearly everything this year except for the tiniest handful of items that aren't my style, but are gorgeous nonetheless. ;; Y u do this to me. I'm going to lose my mind trying to collect enough coins for this year's stock and 2012's stock in case of retirement. So much gorgeous stuff, and I have to concur that the diversity in item images is wonderful-- the fact that they aren't all just recolours and are sometimes drawn completely different is amazing!
Thanks so much! My currencies vault is sighing in relief. But it's nice to hear that we'll be getting some more Vesnali items - probably in other shops, I would guess, not Esthers.
Really though - the items this year are absolutely gorgeous. <3

There are so many gorgeous items this year that really have taken my breath away! The backgrounds are very well drawn, the wigs are gorgeous, the non-wears are some of the best I've seen in a long time, PERFECT TC fodder all around. Everything this year is just so, so very well done. Much love and thanks to the artists for all their hard work!
Vesnali is the most beautiful holiday, all the items are so good and pastel and aarhghhh scrounges for flowers
the sharks oh my god..... sharks wearing flower crowns is so perfect I bought them all
The wearables are a must, then the mandatory books and food, and then doubles or triples more of items for TCs... h e l p
I hope the oldest tab in the shop is the only one retiring next year D:
I am seriously blown away by the item quality and how versatile they are! The fact that some of the wearables got item art that makes wonderful TC fodder is so, so freaking amazing. That's actually one of my big issues that makes Masquerade one of my least favorite events; I'm not very wearable-motivated (though I do like to collect pretty things that catch my eye, haha) and I look more for TC items, so it's hard if most of the items released are just plain clothes. This is SO much more exciting... though it also gives me so much more to collect, which can be a pain, lol! I'm not sure I'll manage to get everything I need, good Lord, there are very few things that aren't on my wishlist!
I also want to especially thank whoever drew the cockatiel items! I wish I knew who drew them so I could flail at their feet, hahaha. I'm not kidding when I say that I teared up over them (multiple times now, omg.) I've been waiting a long time for official cockatiel items that weren't just in cages, and I wasn't expecting at all that we would get five different colors of bird, each with custom avatar art!! And a few cockatiel-themed wearables, one of which has item art that is a chew toy...!! Gosh, I've been hoping we'd get some sort of bird toy item but I didn't expect it to be so perfect! I also love the box of treats : D It seriously blows me away and I can't put into words how much I love them. Cockatiels mean so, so much to me, and I'm indescribably happy with this! Especially since they're all so beautifully drawn, weh, and all in poses that are very familiar and not forced or weirdly cartoony. I really love the posing for the cinnamon and lutino especially, they're beautifully-depicted. Oh, and on that note, I LOVE that different mutations were included -- real colorations for these cute goofy birds! Don't get me wrong, I love cartoony Subeta birds as well, but I have a lutino cockatiel myself, and it's very satisfying to be able to have one on my HA. : D
I'm also SO glad about what a huge variety of items were made. Vesnali is my favorite holiday to begin with and I was psyched for it, but even I didn't expect to be blown away to this extent! Fantastic items that are versatile and amazingly-drawn...! I can't believe how much the artists outdid themselves, this Vesnali is just fantastic!

I'm going to basically echo what I said in the news originally: Vesnali has never been a holiday I've looked forward to in the slightest. Typically it was nothing but tons of recolored spring dresses, flowers in your hair, bunny minions and a handful of collectibles. I usually bought the books and food with leftover coins I had from the year(s) prior and was basically done. Most of the time I just dumped my flowers in a dump gallery because there wasn't anything I wanted bad enough to even get more coins for.
I didn't even get rid of a massive backlog of coins/flowers until a booster was brought in.
That said, I was extremely impressed by this years items! Only a handful of spring dresses but they all had unrelated items that it wasn't even that bad-- overall everything was very well done and so many pretty tea items and foods (fooooods), butterfly stickers, MORE TEA, umbrellas and parasols, beautiful backgrounds and I love the farm animals hidden behind much needed yard equipment/hay and everything else.
I really love that the wearable focus was very toned down and the one's we did get were mostly (if not all) hidden behind other items like the flowers and gnomes. As a TC junkie, I feel that's amazing and the best way to just make everyone happy ;u;
Imo, the best vesnali for non-dress-wearing-wearable-collectors to date! And maybe not the best, but it should also be at least not too bad for them too, as there's definitely some chick wigs/dresses/pretty backgrounds. I give it a 8/10 for my lack of booze (one that may or may not even be booze doesn't count) and lack of PIGEONS.
