I'm very disappointed that tattoos will not be coming back. I loved my tattoo but I don't have the funds to get it made in to a cw plus I wouldn't want anyone else wearing it :(

I'm pretty bummed about this too. My first thought, tbh, was that it was because CW tattoos can be made now :P I guess I'll just hope that I can save my pennies (cough CSC) and have one made :(

Oh no. D8 I really loved my raven tattoo done by my friend and I was really looking forward to seeing it on my avatar again. ;O; I have a tattoo idea, but it's a bit out there and I don't want to dish out the funds to cover it as a cw. :c

I wonder if the new layer thing is an issue of coding difficulties or an issue of how +1 layer will look in the wardrobe, because if it's the latter, I say screw how it looks like, tattoos are more important okay. :C

Aw, well this news is very disappointing I loved having unique parts that differentiated you from other avatars. Oh well, maybe one day! I guess it gives me an opportunity to try my hand at releasing some of the tattoos I created when the system was in session. 8)

What's so hard about adding another layer?

Well, I'm glad we have an answer but I admit I'm extremely disappointed. It went kaput before I ever had the chance to try it out and I love using tattoos on my HAs. are sP tats I often use. (priced ~10m, ~2m sP, 8 raffle tickets, ~1.3m sP, and ~245k sP respectively)

But the most disappointing out of it all is having to resort to csc submission because 700 csc for tattoos is overkill, IMO. Of course, it's up to submitters to price the CW but damned if I want to pay that much for them (they are still awesome CWs!). I feel like they should have their own category for a lesser price (I assume they currently fall under the 5k submission price to justify the 700 csc price tag).

I just feel like there can be some compromise to help offset the inconvenience :/

You can submit direct to shop and not sell any copies if you didn't want anyone else to use them, just so you know!

- Is there the possibility of a cheaper csc cost for tattoos maybe. Say 500 csc for just one?

This is really disappointing. All my tattoos are too small for me to want to make them into CWs, plus I'd have to get someone to draw a CI and get permission to make it into a CW and then other people would have to be interested in it because I'm not gonna pay 1.6k or whatever it is to submit to shop directly for a small tattoo.... :/ It seems like another push into CWs (aka cash flow) instead of actually devoting the time to fix this in a manageable way.

Aww. I never got to even make any tattoos since I had a zombie base when it was released. I held out hope that it would be fixed so zombies could use it. Then we got the bases and I found out it was broken. So I had been hoping since then I would be able to play with it.

On the other hand, I guess it's a good thing I never removed my face paint?

there actually is a category for tattoos now when submitting, and it costs 4k, but yes i've seen many users price them at 700 csc for a slot.

i miss the tattoo parlor too. i used to use if from time to time back in the day. plus, its hard to justify paying 600-700 csc for something so small
