Welcome everyone! This is for general topic discussion for WS3, we should be getting a private forum on Subetalodge for all the meaty stuff so make sure you have an account.

First on the agenda is finding a group name, if you have one go ahead and submit it we'll figure out which one we should have at a later date. The second thing we need to do is establish everyone's roles in the group, we don't have to rush this and I want everyone to be comfortable.

Alright group lets get to know each other and have fun!

Wouldn't it be easier to have everything on here? If we make a ping group we should be able to make a set of private forums to use on here. c: Once we decide on a name we can do that if that's easier for everyone, would keep everything in one place. I have that set up for my CW forum group, makes pings and stuff easy.

First off just throwing it out there, I'd be more than happy to take group lead on this so you don't have to do everything Corvus. c:

"Chimeriad" - Kinda a joke about us being all mismatched and tossed together like a chimera. Heck could use a Chimera for a logo. "Magister Mortalis" - Means Masters of Death "Ragtag Rush" "Powerful Peons" "Swiftguards"

I have around 12 years of role-playing under my belt although I haven't really written anything in 3 years or so, and I mostly played wolves, I am currently unemployed and I live in Nevada with my BF at my parents until we can get on our feet. I enjoy playing video games and have dabbled in let's play's and streaming neither of which are currently active due to life getting in the way and people being home 24/7. I am currently playing my first play through of DA:I so most of my time is spent on that, but I will make time for WS3 when it starts. If anyone has steam or origin my UN is Plixlze, you can add me if you want and perhaps we could game or something. I also have minecraft although I haven't really played in a few months. I also have an obsession with indie makeup and perfume at the moment, I am currently resisting the urge to buy more because I just spent $30 on DA.

@ Can144 I think we could be fine even if we double up on a role, as long as we have some covered we should be good. I was thinking Mage or Bard/Rogue, I have characters I can use for either. I can always make up a new character as well to work with the group. ^w^

I used to run a role-play forum and stuff for years, was what I enjoyed to do in my past time. So much so that my friend has a published book with some of my characters in it. Haven't RP'ed much in the last year or so, just kinda getting back into it. I'm a terrible MMO and gamer junkie to the point that in the last week I have played: Monster Hunter, Xenoblade Chronicles, Persona, World of Warcraft, Final Fantasy XIV, Heroes of the Storm, Samurai Warriors and Hearthstone. Trust me I even get at least 8 hours of sleep every night lol. Overly positive person, I'm known to always have a very cheery outlook, plus I'm always around if you ever just need that someone to talk to. What are you generally doing in life: I am a children´s nurse and health teacher who studied again and now I am a naturopathic practitioner, working with acupuncture, homeopathy and autohemotherapy in my own practice. I feel a deep connection to the Hawaiian islands, especially Maui, and I try to go there whenever possible. I try to live the Huna way, too. On Subeta, I love the HA features the most, I am not one for battling. I used to play Flight Rising, Sonas, Aywas and Felisfire before yet concentrate now on Subeta.

Where do you live: West of Germany, in the Ruhr area. Melting pod of millions of people, lots with migrating background. We are very multi-culti here.

Languages: My mother tongue is German and I am relatively fluent in English (yet it could always happen that as a non-natice speaker, I don´t get things quite that easily so please bear with me). If anything a few good things to work out would be the following: -Name -Appearance -Personality -Class (Sure they can be an alchemist but they can also be more of a nature based person than chemical, think about how they do what they do) -Tools/Weapons they use (Good idea to have an idea of what your character has or uses)

Sounds good to me, I'm putting in my vote for Chimeriad I like the idea behind it haha. We could also make our characters hybrids maybe? It could be as simple as human/dwarf or you could make something more complex? I dunno just an idea haha.

I think I'm leaning more towards playing as a Bard/Rogue and use the character I made for DnD with friends but never ended up using. xD Smooth talking clever rogue with a silver lined tongue and pointy blades. Pretty sure I had her as a mix of a human and city elf of some sort.

But that's good cause really already we're all looking at playing different classes haha... I was thinking of playing my blood mage but I don't think he'd do well in a group and it would be more fun to play a character with charm. x3

I dunno I haven't heard from them. was the last person to speak to them. Really they can play what they want we have a good enough variety, even if they play the same class as someone they could specialize it in a different way.

Example: One person could be an elemental mage and use fire, ice and lightning stuff where the other for instance could be a Blood mage or Necromancer.

I see! I´ll work this weekend on my character, already exchanged some ideas with hubby who is at home after surgery now.

@ ulalena Good to hear he's home, is he doing well? We have a week still to work on our characters so you have some time. ^w^

The only thing that might happen is once I get the last ok on the team name I'll make a forum group that everyone should join so we can use the private forums. (@ Corvus If we go with Chimeriad, should we do "Chimera" or just "Chimeriad" for the forum group ping?)

Hello everyone! I was looking for a group and messaged Cyroris about joining this one. She said yes and here I am! :)

Some stuff about me:

Name: MJ You can call me MJ or Marjolaine, either is fine :) Age: 25 Location: American Midwest (Subeta standard time). Basically in the middle of nowhere :) I live on a farm (not even joking).

Things I do: I work in a library that specializes in historical/unique materials and get to handle some pretty cool books and documents. I play some video games when I have time (which has not been recently! haha). I especially love the Elder Scrolls series. I love Tolkien works and have been spending a lot of time reading Hobbit fanfiction lately. I also have a retired racing greyhound who is my love (oh yeah and my fiancé too :p ).

I've been in some tabletop rpgs before and I'm excited to see how this one plays out :) Has anyone in our group done it in previous years? I think making avatars and solving puzzles sound fun :) As far as a class for my character, I can be pretty flexible if we need/don't need something.

Also I think Chimeriad sounds like a sweet name!

I've been really thinking about it today and I'm going with Aeronaut, Lilith has a personal air vessel that she had crafted after her "retirement" from a pirate company. Flight of Fancy is a basic vessel with steam powered engines with equal space on the top and lower decks. It is based off old-world water ships, but is as sturdy as the new world could make her. While not the biggest ship she can carry up to a crew of 30 if the need arises.

Since most of us just seemed in agreement with Chimeriad I just went ahead and made a forum group for it. Sadly Chimera was taken so our group ping will be
