I have three and I'm starting my Star Wars half sleeve this Friday! My third tattoo is the Deathly Hollows symbol from Harry Potter behind my left ear. I don't have a pic of that one. Otherwise I just have Love for 'To Write Love On Her Arms' and Pikachu, which is FAR from finished, cus I love Pokemon just as much as air and Star Wars and Harry Potter lol

Thanks! And oh yeah it hurt lol Especially right over the spine. But the artist that was doing it wasn't very good so I had him stop. That's why it's just an outline.

My friend is getting the symbol for Earth from Stargate on one wrist and the air symbol from Avatar the Last Airbender on the other wrist. I'd love to have tattoos, but I have a metal allergy, so I don't think I can ever get them. That and I'm a big wuss when it comes to pain. I want to go with her when she gets them done though, just so I can see how it goes and maybe have them try an empty needle on my arm just so I can see how it feels. Maybe.

I'm itching for a new tattoo, but the only project I have is only partly formed as an idea. So far I have my one ittybitty one that was inspired by a sarcastic comment ("What are you going to get? A fucking star on your foot or something?") And a memorial one for my grandmother with the way she always signed her letters to me:

I love tattoos so much. Love all the colored ones. I'm saving up to get mine covered. I got it years ago and don't like it much anymore. Looking to get an intricate anchor on my left love-handle. Eventually I'm going to get a mermaid on my left thigh also!

I've got quite a few, although not many photos to show. Here's my most recent, it's a memorial for my favorite author, Sir Terry Pratchett. The banner wraps around a bit, it reads 'Humans need fantasy to be human.'

I have one and want more, but I have commitment issues, haha. I had to think about it for like two years straight before I got it. Idk how people have so many, maybe it gets easier to commit with each one.

I'm also in a new area and need to find someone reputable. I'm extremely picky about line quality, etc, as you should be.

I have an abstract design of fishbones on my left forearm that I designed in my early twenties.

No pictures, though, because it's super awkward trying to take a picture of the exact spot due to where it lies. I still like it even after almost a decade or so (wow I just now realised it's been that long) and it's definitely showing some age and could use touch-ups, but I think if I went in for touch-ups, I'd just go in to have it redesigned/covered by changing to something else, because it's from a part of my life that doesn't really feel wholly like me any more, you know?

But that requires money and far better health than I'm in currently, and I do still like it so it's alright for now.

I know this topic is about tattoos but I'm curious: do any of you have piercings as well? I used to have a bunch in my right ear, but I got my head closed in a car door some six years or so back and it crushed the metal and tore the cartilage so they're too scarred to use and I'd have needed to get them repierced, lol.

So I just have the one lobe piercing as the sole survivor.

Because of my career i just have my septum pierced because that's super easy to hide while in uniform.

Your octopus tattoo is my favorite! I want to get a shark tattoo on my leg, but due to religious circumstances my dreams are kind of crushed.

I want to get a tattoo but I'm so picky on what to get and where to get it. I've always been thinking of getting a regal looking cat (as a tribute to my two) on my shoulder blade but I'm not sure.

I defiantly love looking at everyone's tattoos and talking about why they choose that specifically.
