I keep reading my pet Nosey books and I think he gained 3 alchemy points now. What do they do and where can I access them?

they allow you to memorize scrolls so that you can cast spells in the Battle Coloseum. Your AP is typically one sixteenth of your Intelligence, so there's no real access. If you want to see what spells you've got and how many of your AP you are using, you can go to Pets and then click the teeny grey dropdown arrow just above and to the right of the Hunger and choose Scrolls.
