Are there any movies that have only female characters in it? Like how lotr and the hobbit have almost all male characters are there any that are like with female characters? Google search gave me no results on the question.

The Women, which has a 1939 version and a 2008 remake. The latter is terrible.

Also other chick flicks like Sex and the City, Mean Girls, Clueless, Jawbreaker, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, The First Wives Club, Charlie's Angels, Pitch Perfect, Bring It On, Bridesmaids, Mona Lisa Smile, and A League of Their Own, which have male characters but revolve around a female ensemble cast. the closest might be Suckerpunch. the protagonist are all female. i never saw any movie with only male characters or female characters.

I know like lotr has a couple of female characters but other than the elf lady and sam's wife at the end, I can't remember any of them. I count that as almost all male characters

not a movie but Orphan Black is a female/woman centric show with 7-9 female lead characters.

Orange is the New Black, Broad City, American Horror Story: Coven (only season 3 of AHS), Charmed, Sex and the City, Gilmore Girls, and Bunheads are all female-centric television shows.
