Here's the short of it; I'm taking a long break from Subeta. See you guys around.

The Long Version

The gradual slip that I had been pursuing to wean myself off of the site has come to an end. I'm just going to jump off the edge now and take a lengthy hiatus. I just snagged my 3 year loyalty totem and I think that's evidence to me that I should slow things down a little. I was going to return for events, but the fact of the matter is I'm pushing myself to my limits at school already and trying to peep in every once in awhile to catch up is just stressing me out. I'm trying to pick all the other things that aren't school off my back so my load is effectively lighter as a whole.

Seeing all the things that I miss with school makes me feel isolated and since I'm already outcasting myself on my own, there's no one to return to. Rather than get behind the times, I think a hiatus would be a better option, not just for the purpose of focusing on school, but also to start weaning myself entirely away from non-essential tasks that are simply distractions. I'm not going to force myself to stay here when I really don't want to be or would rather be someplace else entirely. There's no reasonable way for me to time-manage school and Internet so I might as well send up my white flag and surrender to the inevitable.

I've been working on improving my art around school and I hope to bring it to Subeta eventually... I've been getting into making closed adoptable species of my own and while there's not really a community for that purpose on Subeta, I'm on deviantArt. There's one art piece for someone I intend to finish within the next few months, at least around exams and studying and homework. I'll be working on making a comeback around the end of the year, possibly around my birthday, just to have a little fun and games and give some of my things away, if nothing else. I'll be keeping my pets and most of my items for now, I'll be working on them when I get the urge to work on something to distract myself again.

I just thought you guys might like to hear a penultimate blip on the SubetaRadar before I leave. Or not, I have no idea if any of you guys are still around or care, anyway. ;v;
