Hello. I am Jester, and it should be pretty easy to tell what this thread is about considering the topic title. I am looking for one on one RPs. That said, I am sure you need more information before deciding if you'd like to RP with me. I would prefer casual play. By that, I mean I would like to play with people not expecting an immediate response. I am fairly busy with work during the weekdays, and I don't want to feel pressured into making a response. Especially since my writing will suffer if that's the case. So you could expect one response daily, or every few days. Though, I might respond more than that. Like I said, casual. Go with the flow.

With that being the case, I would prefer to play over mail on this site. I don't have skype (too newfangled for this Jester), and it's unlikely I'll respond quickly to IMs. Hopefully smail works for someone out there! fingers crossed Ah... literacy. I don't have perfect grammar or spelling, but I try. I'm prone to typos, but my writing shouldn't be plagued with them. I am not here to write a novel, but I'll usually write two to three paragraphs. Hopefully enough for any RP partners to work off of.

I am hoping to RP with some of my OCs. These guys are kind of important to me, but I like further developing characters by seeing how they interact with others. I'll give a brief rundown about some of the folks I am looking to RP with.

Mime - aka Matthieu LaRue. As his nickname might imply he works as a mime. He typically performs around the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France, and has an apartment to himself somewhat close by. Mime has aphonia, which means he is quite literally unable to produce voice. He sort of has two personalities. There is the personality of the performer, who is over the top, fun, and energetic. Then there is his own personality, which is more reserved and hesitant. He yearns for companionship, but feels his disability puts him at a disadvantage.

Kacey - I've had Kacey for some time now, but have only recently been developing him a bit more. He is a necromancer who practices his magic by putting on circus shows in graveyards. No living soul has seen his show. His magic has the unfortunate side effect of making him appear much younger than he really is. He appears to be thirteen, and easily becomes annoyed when people mistake him for a child.

Willoughby - I'm kind of reluctant to thrust Willoughby out into the world of RP once more, but why not. Willoughby is an elf who is destined to become the religious leader of his people one day. It's a fate he would rather avoid, and does everything to act out against it. He smokes, curses, and overall has a bad attitude. His long-term goal is to bridge the gap between humans and "mythical" creatures.

I have some other characters on my toyhouse page if you are thinking of RPing but don't care for the characters listed here. I could be persuaded to RP some pokemon with Regan on that page if someone is interested in that. Ah, just mail me or post here if you want to play!
