I am bisexual. However, I feel like on some days I am more attracted to females and other days I will be more attracted to males. I find it odd and . . . complicated at the least if I ever get into a long-term relationship with a person and feel more attracted to the other gender at different times. So, I'm wondering if anyone else out there is bisexual and feels the same way where the attraction to each gender will sort of fluctuate?

Sorry, I guess that wasn't phrased very well . . . Or if the edit was phrased any better . . . Did that clear up any confusion? Thank you :)

That's completely common to feel that way! Although i'm pansexual, meaning an attraction to anyone regardless of their gender, orientation, race, anything! It just means you like people in general. I'm currently dating a transgendered male. I'm just attracted to anyone but i do find myself sometimes switching back and forth between which gender i'm more interested in, if that answers your question at all hah? :3

Oh! Now I get it. Sorry, it's super late and I watched too much anime ;_;'

I am bi and I pretty much only dated girls so far (peharps I am more entitled to them, hell if I know). Sometimes I'm very receptive to boys, but then girls come into my filed of view and I'm lost. I'm probably the typical bisexual person I guess (but then, there is no rules anyway). I find both genders physically interesting, but I'm probably more demisexual when it comes to feelings.

I think it's pretty much normal to fluctuate :)

To add on to what others said, I would be surprised if there is a pan/bi/poly/etc. person who doesn't have their attraction to others fluctuate. I'm certainly like that, and so is every other bi/pan/poly person I've heard talk about things like this.

When I have a normal menstrual cycle--my attraction fluctuates greatly. When I ovulate, I am much more attracted to women, but when I am on my period, I am much more attracted to men. When I am not in the extremes of either, it's pretty equal.

I think this is an extremely important topic that kinda gets like 'hushed' in the bi-community because people will begin to use it as an argument of like, y'know, "bisexual people don't know what they want" / "bisexual people are just going through a phase" / "bisexual people can never be loyal because they can't choose one" etc. However, of course it happens, and it's incredibly normal. I love ice cream, and sometimes I go three months where I only want chocolate ice cream. Then one day someone goes, "Want some of this cake batter ice cream?" and I'm all over it. Sexual preferences are a lot in the same way; in fact, sexuality as a whole is an extremely fluid process. It's 100% normal and okay!

I'm a bisexual girl currently in a long-term relationship with a boy, and sometimes I'm just like, "Man, I'm mega here for the ladies today. Sorry."

Seconding what other people have said about it being common and totally normal! Sexual fluidity is gaining ground in psychological research, so it's becoming more talked about and better understood. :)

, I'm bisexual and married to my wonderful husband. I get like that sometimes too, but it's never been a problem because its an extra shared interest we have as a couple! :D

it's completely normal. I don't know if I've ever met a bisexual person whose attraction is split 50/50 every day of their life.
