I didn't save the base coffee mug I had painted so I'll paint a whole new spring themed one when I get back from vacation. I had planned on saving that one and just changing the design on it but nope, didn't work out that way. kicks self

Just about have everything packed for the beach. It's going to be cool and not hot so it will be perfect for me where I'm allergic to UVA rays. I'm still going to wear sunscreen though. I'm going to take tons of pictures. My head is already there and I have beach fever, can't think of anything but next week, lol. I'm so excited! It will be the first family vacation I've been able to go on with my girls. Chris never wanted to go and would never ok the money to spend on it but where I'm working now, I saved my own money and dad is paying for the beach house so all I gotta pay for is food and entertainment things. Super YAY!!!!

This past week, Monday I took Megabus to Houston and then from Houston to Baton Rouge, La. I was the photographer for a close friend's wedding at Oak Alley Plantation. It's so beautiful out there. The wedding was on April 1. So on Thursday I took the bus back home. It's nice not to have to drive, but I was still tired. Why does riding in a vehicle make you tired? Anyway...

I'm still getting a bit of training. I love working for Pearson so much more than the other places I've worked. They are doing a great job of training me before putting me on phones. I dont think my anxiety will get to me at all this time, because the pace is much slower and the pressure to make metrics is just not there. They want us to give the scorers great customer service and that's what I'm good at. I just hope that either they offer me another assignment after this or they bring me back on soon.

I'm really starting to think hard about going to school for something. To start a career. The tricky part is, I don't want to stay in the city. In about 2 years I'd like to move to the country. And by move to the country I mean move to a town with only 5,000 people. So I have to be mindful of finding work out there in the field I study if I want to continue using my degree.

Btw, Chianti got turned into a Common Experiment . Do you guys think that fits if I did Chianti's story as having something to do with Hannibal Lecter or inspired by? (Because remember the iconic line - "I ate his liver with some fava beans and a nice chianti")

, you got it put in within three days, that's still awesome. I'm a fan of the green, but I know you love to change it up so I'll enjoy the green one until you get time to put the colorful spring one in. I'm sure I'll love it too. :) When I was doing the weekly or even bi weekly board I had an alarm on my phone and still couldn't seem to get it put in on time! >_< Pretty sure no one here gets annoyed. It's just nice to have a fresh place every now and then and with these forums, it's not as big a deal because of the pages that we get when so many posts are made keeping everything organized. :D

Glad you are enjoying your new job I really like Chianti :) Could you take correspondence classes if you decide to move? That's what I try to do when I upgrade..... it's about an hour drive to the uni from where I live...

I think that absolutely fits for Chianti's story, great idea! Choosing a career that works with your degree and for living in a small town is not easy but there's always options and sometimes even if you don't have a career in your field of study, that's my situation, you can still end up with a great career...it's amazing sometime where life takes us and how things work out in the end :)

I hope you're able to keep working there.It's such a good idea to go back to school. Choose something you love and that's versatile so that it works into different types of businesses. A small town does limit the opportunities but the more education you have the more jobs you can fill. As Krysanthemum said, you never know what the future holds.
