Getting back into RP... 1x1 with me?

Soooo....
I used to RP a lot, and then just sort of fell out of it at a time when life got busy. But I've been thinking lately I'd like to get back into it... I'm a little rusty I'm sure, but I've always been a decent writer and I'm just feeling the urge to write creatively again.
Since I've been out of the loop for a while, I thought I would just post and see if anyone was interested... I'm not sure what genres are even popular right now. I am mostly interested in the Fantasy genre as a whole... I also have a love for anything Beauty and the Beast inspired (not necessarily the Disney perfect-fairy-tale version, but more towards the original fairy tale, and anything that has been written that twists off of the original in an interesting way.)
I'm not really interested in exchanging one line at a time... I like content that can be at least a paragraph or more (I used to write entire page responses on days I felt really inspired). However, I am a Senior in college and things are hectic for me, so I completely understand that not every response is going to be super long and detailed. I'd also like to write with someone who can reply frequently, but every single day isn't a necessity either. (Sometimes I will be able to respond every single day, other times it might take me a day or two.)
Also, I always tended to build my characters around each particular plot, so I'm sorry but I have no specific character profiles for you :( Whatever character I developed would be for each new rp specifically.
That's about it I guess... if anyone would be interested in helping me get re-started, just let me know ^_^ I'd love to hear some ideas and I'm just itching to start writing. Or, if there is anything I've left out that would be important in seeking to start a new rp, please let me know what I've skipped over?
I don't mind at all that you're getting back into the swing of things or that you build your characters around the RP, I like that actually. The things I'm interested in are listed here if you want to take a look.
Thank you ^_^ I looked at your list, and "shapeshifters" sounds particularly interesting to me. One plot I used to like to rp occasionally was based around the premise that humans had been removed from power in the world, usurped by non-human sentient beings (along with shapeshifters, all manner of the fey, werewolves, etc.), and because they were seen as being so haughty and such a negative influence on the earth, were being used and hunted for sport. Or the reverse, that humans were trying to push other species into submission.
It feels strange discussing plots after so long, I hope that they don't sound silly XD lol Not that that's the only thing I want to rp, just that shapeshifter characters are something I've had experience with.
I've never done an rp with an apocalyptic setting, but I think it has the potential to be something interesting to me. I also think that Master x Slave can be interesting when combined with a nice plot (in a fantasy genre context, not in a historical context).

I've created a forum group, One on One Role Playing, that you may want to check out. We have over 350 members and are always looking for more to join. Just type in the search on the forum groups' page the name of my group to find it. The hashtag ping is just to make sure you have the right group.
If I were to make a post looking for a one on one, this would be it. Just about word for word. I currently have a full time job that's overnight. I have no issues responding everyday and my responses are really never shorter than a pretty decent paragraph or two, unless my brain is just not with it that day, ha. I'm into the same genre; fantasy. I have an idea or two. All very rough ideas, though. I trust my grammar and all that fun stuff to allow the RP to be carried out smoothly, too! I know how annoying it can be when you spend more time trying to figure out the reply instead of responding to it. It happened all to often for me last time I was on Subeta. Which was around 5 years ago. I do hope to hear from you and hopefully start shooting ideas back and forth.
Oh! I also usually create my characters based around each RP, so unless I already have an intro for it(An RP I had planned on starting myself) I will be starting from scratch, as well.
