I go to Forums > Options > Forum Image, and try to upload (from Imgur) the animated .gif I made. The image is 300 x 188 and therefore under the allowed size limit. When I try to upload I get the message: 'Oh No! Sorry - we aren't accepting animated gifs at the moment' - now, I know this is untrue simply because of the number of animated gifs I see as peoples' images! So, what am I doing wrong and how do I get this image to show up as my forum image?? (If there is a site rule about no animated gifs, then I don't want to break it, however, there are a LOT of users with animated gifs!) Thanks in advance to whoever knows the answer!

gifs can't be uploaded through the forum image thing, but people still code them in to their signatures

edit;;

sorry I'm not really sure what the code is for forumtext since I haven't used scode since the forum change haha, but that is why you still see them! For signatures I think it's just the basic [img ][ /img] code
