Well this is wonderful! my left hand has had the worst of luck with everything. I have put a pocket knife into my hand when down sizing one of those really tall candles you need a stick to relight, slammed my pointer finger into a volvo car door, broke the finger tip and damaged the nerves really well. And just last night I cut the webbing between thumb and pointer with a very sharp box cutter, then stabbed the same area with a small screwdriver as I was making my new pokemon charms and necklaces, and now just as I was cleaning up one from some gunk, I sliced my thumb open.... WHY ME!! OW like seriously.. OOOWWWWWWWW!!!!!!
I feel sick after reading that description, but I really don't know what else I expected considering the thread title, haha.
On a more serious note, I hope you feel better soon! Make sure to grab some Neosporin and band-aids.
"Everything you can imagine is real"~ 🦋
I live off band-aids and neosporin. lol but yes thank you, and I am sorry i made you feel ill about the post. but yes i am very bad when it comes to sharp objects :(
OUCH! I thought I was having it bad after scraping my knuckles twice while zesting lemons (and then squeezing the juice out of the lemons with fresh cuts on my fingers), and cutting another knuckle taking the seal off a jar of peanut butter.
You sound accident prone like me. Except I tend to pull muscles and sprain things, lol. Some times I even find cuts/bruises and have no idea how I got them. XD I do tend to go full tilt during the day so I probably hurt myself without even knowing it. Hope you feel better though! Hand injuries are the worst!
Ooooooh, lemons.. gosh i feel for you. The same thumb I sliced open I had accidentally sliced it before when cutting lemons, and the juice went all into my cut. But it didnt hurt till after I tried washing it out and stuff. And those damn seals on jars are just evil. I had it happen with a sour cream container. You never know its going to happen but the moment it does.. ooohh does it hurt like heck!
I have done that too. I will wake up with odd bruises all over my body for no reason and its always in weird spots. Hand injuries are the worst, i dislike them a lot because I want to work in a restaurant soon but with all these injuries i might need like liquid latex gloves to protect me lol.
You need to be more careful! I usually end up with bruises all over too. I usually don't remember how it happens. I work at an Italian restaurant and when I'm folding pizza boxes I almost always end up getting a cardboard paper cut. It's the worst. I hate when I buy new shoes and get blisters from them. I have fallen arches and it's always a pain trying to find shoes that will work. I can't have really tight shoes because I always end up with those blisters and they always end up popping. Then I'm usually in pain because I can't stop wearing shoes. (Me IRL now)
Poor Maka! I know the feeling of shoes. No matter which ones I buy, wether they are sneakers, hightops, half way or something i get blisters too. I had two different pairs of shoes cut my ankles and bleed all over my socks. I wasnt happy :( huggles We should find shoes that are extra friendly for you that way you dont have to deal with blisters and such.
Oh! I have a couple of suggestions for shoes for you two. Either the GoWalk, Relaxed Fit, or EzFlex series from Sketchers or Croft and Barrow has similar styles. But my new favorite is by Natural Sport. They are made with the softest material and they are so comfortable. My feet actually don't hurt when I wear them which is a new experience for me!
I have to find these shoes... when i have money of course.. current job do pay shit so its hard to get what i need when everything goes to rent and bills right away :(
And not take our money. Its like getting papercuts all the time with them bills. they sting, happen so fast and dont go away quickly enough. :(
I have found that uggs and perry boat shoes are super comfortable, but are very pricey. I love a good old pair of Nikes too. I had to have non-slip shoes for work and I refuse to pay more than $30 on them, you really pay for what you get. I currently still live with my rents, I'd never be able to pay for anything if I would move out since I can't get a full time job going to college full time. I feel your pain with bills though, car insurance is a pain in my behind. It's so expensive and I already have just the bear minimum.
