So i spoke to the head of my college asking for a scholarship. Long story short, lits awarded to help fund a trip. 3 other people are going.

He told.me to 'Ask the others of they 'expect' to have aid. If they do tell them to come see him, if not then just leave it at that.'

Is he trying to suggest.... if i am the only one getting the scholarship i get all the funds? Wby would he word it like this. Im so confused. Am i thinking too much?

Well, I think it depends a lot on the tone of voice he used, which obviously can't be put across in a forum setting. He could be being snotty, saying that everyone else can afford it so why can't you. Or he might just simply be wanting to see if anyone else needs money too, so he knows how to divide it up. Without actually seeing and hearing him, it's hard to say. Are you friends with any of the other three people going on the trip? You could ask them if anyone of them are asking for aid. Or you could tell them what happened and ask them if maybe they could go ask him too.
