Ok so I've been doing my best to keep my pet fed but holy crap it's hard XD I feel like I'm buying food all the time (even if it isn't all that expensive)! 0_o

I know there's a couple of inns that will house my pet and feed him and stuff but I'm also working on training my pet up. Will putting him in an inn make me unable to train him?

Also I would really like to get another pet. But I'm kind of wondering about the feeding thing? I read the FAQ and didn't see anything about this in there (then again I could have completely missed it). I feel like if I get another pet I wouldn't actually be doing anything but feeding them XD

So are only active pets going to get hungry? Also can a pet run away if they're unhappy and hungry?

All of your pets will get hungry, not just your active pet; but putting them into the resort will just keep them fed and happy - you can still train, battle, and interact with them as usual. In addition, unfed pets will never run away, they will just be unable to battle until they are fed.

You can still train and battle with your pet if it's in the resort :) All pets get hungry unless they are in the resort or you hand feed them, They won't run away if they are unhappy/hungry though and their faces also stay the same so no-one can really tell you haven't fed your pets - I don't feed any of my pets except for Hearst because he's my gourmand and Illy/Xerses because I battle with them and they can't battle if they are hungry

the resort and the inn also amuse your pet, so your pet is not bored. This prevents you from doing one of the chores that the quest grantor Major Drills asks of you. (Drills will also ask you to feed a pet sometimes, so if you like to do this one you might want to leave one of your pets hungry)
