Just a confused newbie seeking a few pointers. 😊

  • How do you get custom clothing? I see a lot of nice custom clothes/hairstyles but can't get them in user shops.

  • How does the currency work here? For example, on another pet site I use, 50K is a decent amount of virtual money. Is 50K sP a lot? I mean, I see some items selling for 1K and others selling for a hella lot more.

  • What quests do you recommend to gain sP? I've been doing Sarah's newbie quests but I know I won't be able to do them forever.

  • The wizard quest gave me wizard tokens. What can I do with them?

  • Why wont my achievements show up on my profile?

Thank you!

  • 50k is peanuts on here, you can easily make that with a couple of games or quests. :)

  • I personally love Pete, the Wizard and Maleria for a quick profit but taste differs there.

The Custom Clothing question I leave up for the Wardrobe people. XD

Yeah, I've just discovered the wizard and finished his quests. It was pretty fun! And thank you so much for your answers, this is a huge help. I edited my last post with more questions just as you posted. :)

You can get custom clothing in the pawn shop cw section all cost CSC you can buy CSC with rl money thats the easiest or you can buy it through the user-shops cost like 25 MILLION SP for 500 CSC right now its pretty high ;D also other ways to get custom wearables is in the forums under custom clothing. If you see something you can get a slot on it, slots can be like different prices they state how much the item is these all cost csc. If the item you want is already on site then you can make a post on the r200 section in advertising to see if anyone is selling that item if its public some people might take sp for certain items but most csc and now there is CUstom wearable shops which you can find if you hover over cash shop then click custom wearables shows a feed of users selling things you can go to their shop cost csc. :)

Do the saggi quest when you get enough SP but I usually quit a quest if it cost to much or if there is a potion or elixer they are asking because some of the elixers are 100k-200k which is not worth it. If the quest asks for 2 items I try not to go over 30-50k sp you might not get much and if its 3 I don't go over 60-100k but I guess it depends sometimes I get way less. Make sure to do the wizard quest and save up your tokens in case you catch a token restock.

you can use tokens for the token shop when there is items in there and play games in delphi at the carnival those cost tokens and use them if you catch a item at the Blackheart Hollow.

many items of CW are limited release. If you don't see them in shops, then they're probably not available. Sometimes the item creator will make re-colors, and sometimes they don't. Other than that you can haunt the Pawn Shop, commission something similar, or riffle through Subeta's already extensive array of clothing to "fake it on the cheap". Subetalodge is a fansite that has an item database that you can sort by layer. The beta version of the Wardrobe also allows you to try off-and-on all items in Subeta and also to sort out the CWs.

IME based on what you can buy, 10sP here is worth 1 neopoint. In terms of how hard each is to get, maybe 30sP is worth 1 neopoint. That is to say the cost-of-living here is lower by a lot, so it doesn't matter so much. Think of sP like the pre-Euro Italian Lire, it's real money with a stable value, just a small value for just one of them. (actually trading these currencies to find out for sure violates the TOS for both sites, so don't do that. This is just my guess).

I think quests are dull, but many users here like them, so I will leave that answer to others who know. I choose to do Quentin's Quests because he drops items that can be used to make stat-boosters and I have a lot of battlepets. Wizard Tokens are just a little to expensive to buy vs questing for them myself, so I do that one too, and that is all of quests for me.

Me, I restock and have a huge shop. Games are also a credible source for sP last time I checked, and many of these are easy and fun.

WT can be sold to other users, and can also be used at Elwood's Oracle Shop and at Vending Machines.

Achievements on User Profiles is currently broken. If you're wondering about any feature of Subeta that seems like it oughta work but it isn't for you, you can check the subforum Problems & Bugs to see if someone has reported it.

To use Wizard Tokens, they must be in your currency bank. To place them there, you may click on one in your inventory and select the Cash Tokens options. Alternately, if you have many tokens in your inventory, you can go to the Wizard Exchange to submit them all at once. The link to the Wizard Exchange can be found on the dashboard, you click on Other Currencies.

Places that use Wizard Tokens:

  1. Token Shop. This shop only restocks on occasion. There will be a news announcement when the shop is stocked. Note that when an item stocks in the TS there are a limited number of them, but throughout the next 24, or so, hours, more batches will be added to the shop. These are not announced on the news. You can check the shop throughout the day to see if can catch a restock, or join a token shop ping group.

  2. Orcle Token ShopThis shop only shows boxes so you don't know what you are buying. This shop was originally in the Sacred Lands, but it can no longer be found on the map, so bookmark the link.

  3. Carnival Games. The Carnival is accessible through Delphi Beach, click on the ferris wheel, or directly from the Explore Map by clicking on the unlabeled tent between Riverside and Delphi Beach. The games use various amounts of tokens and you will see how much it costs before playing the game.

  4. Vending machines. There are nine vending machines accessible throughout Subeta, plus one more once you make the uncharted lands map. They cost 2 wizard tokens to use.

Subetalodge has a vending guide which lists them all and what vends from them.

  1. Blackheart Hollow. This shop restocks randomly. If you find an item there you will only have seconds to purchase it and even if you click immediately, you may not be fast enough to grab it. It can be found on the Darkside map on the far right.

  2. Ultimate Pet Zapper can be found in the lower left corner of the Darkside map. Read the instructions at the zapper to find out more. Warning: The zapper can turn any unlocked item in your inventory to dust! They can also affect any attached minion. So be careful to empty your inventory, or lock your items and remove your minions (or attach a worthless minion if you want).

  3. At the Ultimate Pet Zapper during Morostide (and possibly other events) to zap your HA in various skins. You can view the various skins at Subetalodge.
