So I've noticed that on the dance floor, it doesn't display our background layer items. I suggest that if it's going to hide/not display the background/foreground, it also shouldn't display ground layer items. Plants, rugs, those things.

(My avatar has a somewhat jarring "black rug" suddenly appear under it on the dance floor, it looks kind of funny).

The balcony on my HA shows up on the dance floor. It looks really out of place!

Yeah, if bgs are removed, ground and foreground would logically get the same treatment imo.

I would rather ground items stayed, and I'm sure people who have no actual HA and just ground items to represent themselves might feel the same.

I would rather that the layers that show still show. I have successfully played with having HAs that look different on the dancefloor than they do in-forum-queue. I think it's fun. I also think that users who don't use the HA should still be able to dance.

It's not a surprise that it's a dance and this is what happens, or if you're new it doesn't stay a surprise for long. Save your ground-HA in one of your SHared Outfits or in one of your Save slots, then take it off to dance with.

I actually find the ground items to be really funny. That one (or more) ground item is so important that the HA is dragging it around all the time. As long as they clean up when they're finished dancing. Don't want any injuries.

Same goes for the vanishing cream. I always image that the HA is carrying a white board with an image painted on it. Take away the board and they're going to be naked.

Yeah, it should be strictly 'clothes' items only allowed on the dance floor. Ooh, but those little steamworks pets should stay, they look good.

If you get rid of the ground then all those little pets and such go away. Sometimes that is all you can see on an HA.

But the jarring white BG is because of the vanishing cream and can't really be taken away unless you want to see all the parts that the user is trying to hide.
