Not entirely sure which sub-forum this might belong in. Essentially, (and, this is just a random thing I thought just now while looking at the dance floor, so it may be impossible to code. Heck...it may even be a ridiculous and stupid idea in someone's opinion.), I think it might be kind of fun to make the avatars in the ballroom image (the randomly selected lil guys/gals hanging out on the sidelines) clickable links to invite that specific user to a dance.

I know there's the whole "dance with the user above" threads, but I figured this might be kind of fun too.

For example: See an avatar you absolutely love in the sidelines but have no idea who it belongs to, click to dance with that person and not only find out who it is, but also give them trinkets (from the dancing, obviously) as an appreciation for a well made avatar. xD

And yes, I am aware that it probably pulls inactive user HA's for that as well, so it could be a hit or miss in that aspect. =/

this could be a very neat feature if it pulls people who have logged in only in the last 24 hours or so. if that's at all possible.

This would give people more of an incentive to visit the dance floor besides just hoping they get the random popup from Boudejin, so I am down for this.

I was wondering earlier if there was a way to see who someone was on the dance floor because I wanted to dance with them.

I like this idea! I've often wondered who the people on the sidelines were and wished they were clickable.

I would probably do this, as mentioned, as something else to do while I'm waiting to do some scissor/scissor/scissor on the dance floor

This is an adorable idea, provided it can be done without contributing to site lag.

If this happened, I feel like the way it shows onlookers would have to be changed. As of right now it looks like just ANY random avatar on site. Half the time I'm getting completely naked people with no mask on.

From what I've seen, it doesn't look like only active players are being pulled. Maybe it should somehow be filtered to only people who have recently played AND are wearing a mask will show.
