I think the title explains all xD I've been around subeta for some time (on and off), but just became interested in battling recently.... What in the world should I be using for tier 4? I've read a few previous posts, but I've moreso gained the impression that at this point, lining up certain weapons for certain opponents REALLY begin to matter...so who and what should I use against who and what? xD I'm lost. Most "guides" hint to "best weapons"...but that inevitably tells me nothing....I'm lost D:

For t4 stuff I use two They are fairly cheap and are pretty good. What weapons do you currently have?

Currently I have: Archans Roar (really want to get something better), Ruffie Healy Bones, Shrine of Apollonia, Teeny Pie Minion Disguised As Bomb (Quest item that has used up its worth xD ), Icy Freezing Rod of Doom, Sparkling Quill, Rainbow Quill, And UltimaPlus Tag I'm cheap unless I know it'll be really useful :x

My current stats are: Level: 110 Health: 275 / 275 Strength: 333 Defense: 336 Speed: 272 Intelligence: 664 I legit juuuuuusssstttt hit tier 4 today, but I also like to plan for the future

The icy rod is probably fine for awhile, there are 100% freezers for t4 but the icy rod has a pretty good freeze rate and does more icons. The weapon I suggested in my other post is quite cheap so getting two to use isn't a bad idea. Shinwas temple shard is t4, a full blocker that has use in t12 even, but a huge pricetag comes with it. If you are patient, phoenix quill should come back to the MC in the summer. That is a 100% healer and does not take your healing slot. It is essential.

Don't doubt my patience xD hahaha I'm willing to look forward towards tier 5/6 if it means making my training slightly longer in the long run, but saves sp...it seems as though tier 4 is an awkward "in betweener" where you're not quite there long enough to invest, but long enough that you may want to upgrade a bit. The new battle quest style helps a lot, though

I feel that way about a lot of tiers actually. There's not much variety or reason to be much variety in some of the lower tiers. it's a good chance to build up your base set like your healer, freezer, save for higher tier weapons, work on your AP and scrolls.

I do really like the new battle quests.

Scrolls are definitely something I've been working on. I have alchemy points out the...well...everywhere they can come out of xD So, I suppose the best advice is directed towards items that this tier/the next couple of tiers could use when it comes to the real show

t5 gets more expensive with the freezewand of doom and the reborn wand of doom. I think these are more useful since you need both to combine for a t6 weapon. I haven't honestly used either of these, but from what I've read, they are usually suggested? if anyone else reads this, correct me if I'm wrong. The reviver of the lion is 90% healer, very useful throughout every tier (I would like one of these but they are extremely expensive right now)You can finally use the recycle blaster and soma tablets for blasters, and there are some other 100% freezer options. there is also the Iron Fireside Lantern which makes a decent bomb. For t5, I just used the chakram from t4 and Forj Tempered Kusarigama. I didn't want to put too much sP into my t5 pets since I didn't battle with them much, but those two weapons really worked.

for t6, Frost Thorn looks pretty good, along with Reborn Icewand of Doom. Deluxe Death Shard is a popular freezer for t6, but nothing else looks very stunning.

If you want me to continue, I can.

I am really just skimming here if you need a good place to look at.

t7 I believe people use the twisted rift blade commonly, and both Fruit Bone Dagger and Refined Energized Arm Augments should be easy to get. Item Hunters Bomb is a pretty easy to get bomb.

t8 is a lot more interesting. there is much more selection. I think it's the first tier you can use a blessed trident of the banished one (very expensive, but worth it) it really depends though. weapons start becoming more about what defense you need in a specific situation. in the previous tiers, nothing really did both offense and defense well enough to bother mentioning. starting at t8, most weapons will do this.

Gotcha ^.^ Thank you! So far, when things have seemed difficult, I've tended to just wait on my stats to catch up and make them easier (Cursed Iron was cursed many times in the beginning >.>...and now tends to be a two hit KO). I'm excited (my pocked isn't) for when the REAL game begins and there's a need for certain skill with items to be employed.

Yeah, the beginning is a lot more about stats since there is little selection in weapons. Training and doing bqs every day is definitely important.
