I, knowing it's not possible, tried inviting myself to dance just to see the silly error that comes up. It sparked an idea for a fun achievement:

Solo Dancer

Invite yourself to dance!

1/100 10/100 20/250 30/250 40/250 50/250 60/250 70/250 80/250 90/250 100/250 125/250 150/250 175/250 200/250 250/250

It would look like this on the forums:

(Username) is a Solo Dancer Extraordinaire!

The tiers could even be more than that. However, I thought that 250 would be a nice place to start if there were to be more tiers added later on. There would be no trinkets given for solo dances (as you can't give them to yourself) and dance wait times would be the same as if you were dancing with someone else. There'd also be a buff for yourself. It'd be an Encore buff where your wait time would be decreased for dancing for a short amount of time XD You'd have a 5 minute time frame to use it or it's gone. It'd wouldn't be nearly as frequent in appearance as the regular dancing buff is.

There's all kinds of different dancing. I thought it'd be a funny twist to have for Masq...especially when that DANCE button is so conveniently located below your own HA and is visible to each individual user (and is equally as tempting to click just for kicks!) LOL! XD

An acheievement for making an error 250 times soubds pretty pointless to me.

Klassikal - it wouldn't be an error anymore. It'd be a solo dancing button.

Yeah, gonna have to go with a no on this. The whole point and purpose of events is to interact with others and I can imagine making a page error over and over again is not what Subeta needs or wants.

[edit] Even if it's not going to make the page error, my point about events being interacting with others still stands. Why would we even have events if we could get everything ourselves... the challenge is to interact with others and hope they accept.

No :L Like said, an achievement for getting an error (250 times??) is stupid. Why bother, especially with tacking a wait time onto it, for no trinkets? No one wants to do that :L

I feel maybe a single tier wouldn't be so bad, considering we already have other achievements that are just as silly. I don't think anything more than 1 would be needed.

Gonna agree with everyone else that it just sounds like a big waste of time... There's only 11 days of masquerade, who'd want to spend the whole time waiting to get no trinkets from themselves?

No support. I hardly have enough time to get all the dancing in with others to worry about refreshing an error page.

I don't see why there couldn't be an achievement for doing it once. After all, there's an achievement for getting denied a dance which means no trinkets for the person who is denied and the person who refuses the invitation.

PS: Nobody is forced to go after any achievements so anyone who wouldn't want to invite themselves wouldn't be obliged to do it.

I guess having a single non-tiered achievement would make as much sense as anything else, but having tiered achievements of something completely and utterly pointless, not so much.

I'd love this. You dance with yourself = you get no trinkets, obviously, but you could get an achievement.

Would probably make trinkets inflate, and not make them total worthless.

I agree. I think it's a good achievement for trying to dance with yourself once, but no tiers. Once is enough.

That many tiers does seem sort of pointless, but once or a few times would be cool! I like the title idea :D I think it would be neat to have something pop up if you did that. With all the millions of times we've probably all accidentally tried to buy from our own shops, or put presents under our own trees, or whatever, and had the 404 guy yell at us XD It's a cute idea to get an achievement for getting tipsy in the Lounge then going out on the dance floor and dancing alone.

I think if it has to be a tier no more than 5-10 times.

There isn't tiers for getting rejected, sooo.... yea...

So one achievement, one time, with a title, that's completely fine. Anything more than that is redundant and kind of asinine.
