When my dances pile up, I usually just refresh on the accept dance page to get them all out of the way. So I was refreshing when all of a sudden I got this message:

What the heck? If the dance didn't exist (happens when I refresh too much and run out of dances) it usually says "Oh No! You haven't been invited to dance!"

So what the heck? Does the system or some admin think I'm cheating or something? Did this happen to anyone else because this is the weirdest thing to me. o.O

this is a new one on me. You do what I do, instead of doing them as they come in I do them in a bunch. It's easier that way. This warning sounds automated, even though it's different. Maybe file a Ticket just to cover your butt?

Sometimes I go to the dancefloor to see what everyone is wearing. I've been challenged to a Rock Paper Scissors duel by NPC Gossip Boudewijn doing that, so that was some free trinkets, too. Maybe do this once in awhile just in case there's some script checking?

I think it's probably just an error that's supposed to be fun and is actually kind of scary when you get it. You could probably file a ticket to find out why it happened but I'm sure you weren't doing anything wrong. I think most people tend to wait until their dances pile up a bit before they go through and refresh and accept them all

it happened to me five times yesterday and I won a Bronze trinkets bag three times. It's very Monkey Island combat system-like.

It hasn't happened to me at all today, so maybe it's pretty rare?

So it's all good :) I'll try to be more careful about my accepting so it doesn't happen again though.

I dunno if there's a generic dance floor URL like there was before, but the way you got there to see two random folks dancing was by clicking on one of the curtains in the back and then searching the room to find the door back to the ballroom, and I can't find any open curtains to do that with the ballroom this year.

Hmm, alright thanks c: I've been completely missing the go to dance floor links when I accept dances so that's half my problem :P

I have been getting the initial invite to dance, and then if I open a new Subeta page in a tab, that same invite pops up as a new notification... so, of course I click to accept, thinking I got an invite to dance, and then I get that same message. Basically, I'm getting duplicate invites. Kind of weird.

wait so do you just go to the dance floor whenever a dance is accepted and sometimes you get an event to a challenge or something?

It's a new dueling thing that was out by accident yesterday, so it was taken down again. Amber said it will be announced in the news when the feature is out. (If you got it yesterday, don't worry, she said we can keep the trinkets)
