This is probably a dumb question, but I can't seem to figure it out; How do people change their subject titles to things like "Solved, please lock" I assume the topic isn't created that way?

Also, I figure asking for locks on Advertisement forums is common courtesy, but are some topics better to leave open?

- you can do it by clicking on 'edit post', which allows you to edit the topic, or the post itself.

I usually request my topics to be locked when I'm done, but I ping the moderator for that forum in my post, rather than editing the title.
