I am applying for Valainaras. I confess I am thrilled o see Valianaras available. I am (was?)saving up for a Neela to create. I did not think I would have the opportunity to apply for one. To make it even better Valainaras is already a lovely storm pet. I love storms in real life-so the theme is perfect!!
Off the top of my head I can imagine Valain as a rebellious child to Sif. She is not mentioned in the lore because of the shame they feel for her. You see all the rumors of Sif having an affair is actually true!! That is how Valian came to be. Sif had a relationship with an unknown character. She pleaded with the sorcerers to help her have the baby without Thor knowing about it. Luckily for the sorcerers Sif did not show a bump for several months. They created a potion to allow her pregnancy to be "invisible" to everyone but her and them.
After Valian was born she handed her off to the hand maid to care for. As Valian grew-she had the overwhelming feeling that she was Sif's daughter. One evening Valian approached Sif and begged her to tell the truth. Of course Sif did not. :P That would be silly!
Valian went home that night and created a truth spell for Sif. (her adopted mother practiced witch craft-so Valian knew the trade). When she approached her again Sif told her everything. Sif was so distraught and cried out after she said the truth. She fell weeping on the floor-and asking why she had been cursed.
Valian went home that night with the intention of forgiving her mom. Then she had a dream. In it her father-at least thats what he said he was-approached her. He told her that her mom, Sif was a terrible person. And that if he had known about her he would have loved and cared for her the whole time. He feed lies and mistrust into her dreams for months on end.
Her hatred for Sif-and Thor grew nightly. Soon she would be unstoppable.
lol WOW Soo... I did not expect to go THAT far with her character tonight.

Thats so sweet ^^! I hope you recognized, that the name is Valainaras and not Valianaras? As you shortened him with Valain ^^ bevor you misread something :)
