Instead of having the steamworks and lounge trinkets just pile up in the inventory, they should be placed directly in the shops and then we should be able to remove them in a similar way that wizard tokens can be removed. Would this be a good change?

I don't support this. I don't think there's any way to get Steamworks Trinkets back out once they get put into that shop, and not everyone puts theirs there.

I wouldn't support this idea because there is already a link for this. Also, as said, not everyone puts their trinkets into the shops. Perhaps they are saving them for a friend or selling them. There is no option to remove Trinkets once they are in the stores so using the link is your best bet.

I like how everyone saying "you can't remove them" missed the part where OP also suggested being able to take them out, Wizard Token-style.

But personally I think it's easy enough to put them in the bank, so I don't think the change is really necessary. What I'd like is to be able to opt out of getting Lounge trinkets because I'm not actively going for Gourmand

Why should we code something right smack during the events, when there is a chance for it to glitch and eat tokens?

It should have been done before the event, not during.

Oh, I know. I just don't like having to put them all in, save them up (for the bags), then put them back in as Steamworks ones when I could just get them as Steamworks in the first place. Plus the exchange rate is 2:1 so doing that gives me fewer tokens back.

It's not a change I expect or even really think should be put in, but I just get annoyed that most of the time I get the Lounge tokens when I don't want anything from that shop :P

Actually, yeah, it's kind of weird that you can't change your Menagerie tokens over if you wanted to do that.

But as far as I'm concerned life can take its crappy hand and stuff it. I've had far too much of this "get used to it lol!!11!!" crap in important areas of my existence. LET ME ENJOY MY INTERNET LIFE TO THE FULLEST

lol. It would be more likely that I'd stockpile them in a fit of paranoia that I'll need them for achievements and then I'll have a vault full of food for no apparent reason.

And then the day I finally get tired of hoarding them all and sell them will be the day they get made into achievements :P

Yeah please no. I plan on turning trinkets in as I need them to minimize double buying. -_-

I'm also affected by the double (or in my case triple) item buy glitch so I never add all my trinkets/tokens to an event shop, if I am given a choice in the matter. Even though the glitch is not nearly the problem it used to be... I'd still feel like I'd have to clear most of the trinkets out - I would be so upset if this wasn't an option - before I could buy anything. So... Yeah... This would make what is currently a simple process a lot more work for me, personally.

Is there currently a way to change Trinkets to Lounge Tokens? I know there is a way to do it from Menagerie to Lounge but there isn't a way from Lounge to Menagerie.

There's no official way (as far as I know). I think you'd just have to make a thread to see if anyone would trade or sell them and use the sP to buy Lounge Trinkets :/

I think you should suggest that, people with gourmet pets who need to drink/eat everything from the Lounge would support it very much~

I actually like this idea. If Raffle Tickets could be changed to be turned into a direct currency to help unclog inventories and save users the time it takes to change them back into forum points when lots of people barely have amounts of that currency in the double digits, I don't think it's too unreasonable to ask that the same be done for holiday currencies where people are dealing with thousands. I don't really turn in my trinkets unless there is an item I'm going to buy, then I turn them in, buy that item, and drop down to a very small amount. So this would definitely help with me having to spending 5-10 minutes every few hours to put my trinkets in my vault 100 at a time. And honestly, people have been asking for a way to transfer coins to the other variation with a 2 to 1 exchange rate and allow for ways to distribute large amounts of trinkets. I'm surprised how many people are actually pro-tediousness. xD

It would be better if there was one page to turn in the lounge AND the steamwork tokens... It's so annoying to run between two pages all the time..
