Was there an update just pushed fixing forums? They seem to be loading very fast and certain posts look slightly yellow. And there are loading wheels?
Or is this just because of the new servers starting up? If this is a fix, they are loading noticeably faster for me and I enjoy this.
[edit] Ping button just puts the at symbol. This needs fixed Edits give ugly errors but still go through
....I don't like these changes right now, it seems like the forums aren't even loading, I keep seeing the "loading post" for every topic. But as soon as it gets fixed then I suppose I'll be fine with it.
I'm sure it'll get better. They load much faster for me even with the wheels than before.
Give it a hard refresh and you should get the newest javascript!

Any chance you can make the ping and edit buttons more iphone friendly when they get fixed? Their click box is tiny for my fat fingers.
The ping button doesn't work
There's a long delay between clicking the quote button and the text appearing in the reply box
Direct links to posts are still off (as I mentioned in the other thread)
Editing a post gives a pile of errors:

And it's just frustrating in general to have posts load out of order when you're trying to read a thread top-to-bottom.

Ping button fixed, working on the elastic search thing now.
I agree that is annoying, but it should get resolved as I can get more of the data being called out of those posts so they load faster and faster. :) Right now the calls are done one at a time, but some posts just take longer to load.
The link to posts thing is about as good as it's going to get now until that is resolved as well, it waits 1.5 seconds after the page has loaded and brings you to the post, even if it loaded in the wrong place originally. I can up that to two seconds but that might be annoying if you've already started to scroll.

And just pushed a fix for the editing thing. That error is something I've been building awhile which should lead to working forum search soon :)

It is loading much faster for me. Have you done a hard refresh?
It loads super quickly but I'm assaulted with a lot of "loading" all at once.
I prefer it to the lag but yeah I get what you're saying
I can't seem to get the WL button to work on forums rn. It's working okay in other places.
Holy shit okay I am really not a fan of the individual loading post thing. It looks kinda awful and I honestly don't notice any speed change. I get what they want to accomplish with it, but I feel like it's too much?
The individual loading just seems to be slower than it was the other way for me. I seriously dislike this change and wish I could opt out of it.
