I want to start battling and I just not to sure where to start. My pet is at Tier 3 so far and the weapons I have are: Ruffie Healy Bones, Cursed Demon Sword, Ice Freezing Rod of Doom, Rreign Mace of Malice, and Shrine of Apollonia. Have a couple more I am saving up to get: Gold Clockwork Grenade, Gear Theme Crossbow and Stinging Gauntlet. I am wondering with the ones I have already can I battle. Do you feed your pets 10 times everyday or is there a easier way to do it? How do you know what mods you can put on a weapon? How many times can you battle a day?
Can't think of anymore questions as of now but I will surely have more.
Please ping me so I know you have answered, thanks.
[edit] Would it be safe to do battle quests? What is the best to use exp on: health or strength?

There is a resort you can put your pet in, I believe it's in Veta. They will feed your pet. It's like the neolodge if you ever played neopets.
Modifications depend on your enemy, and may not be incredibly useful at lower tiers. Maybe just use singed tear crystals, they should be cheap. Baguette crystals are better but are more expensive. At later tiers, I have at least one parched baguette crystal and critical strike tear crystal on each weapon. Some weapons I put two parches on. Then I fill the remaining slots with singed baguette crystals. Battling is unlimited, no per day limit. Battle quests are good to start, do as many as you can per day. 30 is the max but only t11 and t12 pets have a chance to finish them. Use your exp to keep your stats balanced. You'll only want to unbalance them somewhere between t10 andthe start of t12.
For your weapons, I will post an edit of what the weapon guide says is good for t3...
[edit] It looks like your set is from that guide already, but the t3 attackers with the negative heal are just so blah. Better weapons open up for t4, you may want to hold out until then if you're sorta close
- That's a decent set to start with with a T3, there's a few staples you will want to add later, such as the Phoenix Quill from the MC, it heals 100% and is great for any tier. Once you hit T4 a 100% freezer will be better than the icy freezing wand of doom, but no need to replace it right away. T4 has a couple better options than T3 for attackers, like the . You'll get there before you know it.
There's some bombs that you can use that are a bit cheaper than might help you out at T3 that are a bit cheaper too like the Happy Bomb. It's never to early to start battling, there are a handful of opponents that a completely untrained pet can beat.
Feeding your pet is easily achieved by putting your pet into one of the two resorts, one is in Veta Lake, the other in Port Plunder. http://subeta.net/explore/resort.php or http://subeta.net/explore/rathskellerinn.php For only a bit of sP they will keep your pet fed all day. :)
You can put any mods on any weapons, you just need to have the mod crystals in your inventory. You can buy them at the battle shop, user shops, or some opponents will drop them (mainly the CSC challengers) While you don't need to mod, they can be a big help, especially when you get to higher tiers, modding becomes very important.
You can battle unlimited times a day. I'm fairly certain there is no limit on that. The maximum BQs you get are 30, and beating an opponent more than 10 times stops giving you EXP or prizes (but will still give you tokens to use in the battle shop)
Battle quest: YES DO THESE! Even if you can only beat the first 5 levels, that will still give you decent amount of EXP to spend on boosting your pets stats! A T3 should be able to get past the first 10 levels at least.
Other things: Read lots of books to your pets so you can equip scrolls, this is an extra weapon you can use each turn. And do Shinwa's quests every day, sometimes she will give you stat boosters (and even if you don't want to use them when your pet is at a lower tier, you can hold onto them for later, or sell for profit)
Hope that helps! Feel free to ask more questions. You can also ask on the Battle Coliseum Chat thread here: ">http://subeta.net/forums.php/read/822793/Battle-Coliseum-Chat-2015/248/ We don't bite (most of us)
Thank you for answering my plee for help, lol :) You guys have explained a lot.
I figured out the resort thing, thank you.
Thank you, for the T4 advice KiaArra.. can't wait to get there.
Battle quests; so if I can only do so many out of the 30 does that count as losses?
[center] 🌹 👻 Sept
✧Goodreads✧
Losses during bqs don't count against your record I believe. And not doing the quests you can't do wouldn't count as losses either :p
- If you can't complete all 30 BQs it does not count as losses. If you lose to an opponent during a BQ it also does not count as a loss on your pets' battle record.
With the beat an opponent 10 times and exp stops.. is that per day or once you have beat them 10 times?

✧Goodreads✧
- You can battle them 10 times anytime, not once a day. Once you get 10 wins it doesn't go back to 0 (unless the battle admins reset the wins, which they have said they will shortly so try to get 10 wins on as many opponents as you can in the next few weeks!)
That's 10 times total outside of bqs. This is getting changed eventually though. Eventually you'll get a small amount of exp every additional win past 10
I'm mostly wondering how to get exp after 10 if it stops.

- Battle quests are the only way to get EXP once you max out (get 10 wins on) the battle challengers. Of course, you will also be able to beat more and more opponents as you get stronger, you can get exp from every battle opponent with your first 10 wins on them.

Don't forget to check out that topic for help. Good to brush up on the basics.
Also no harm in doing BQs, if you cannot beat a challenger it's no big deal. Go as far as you can and keep on training and working on your battle set and things will get better.
Once you mod a weapon can you unmod it?
[center] 🌹 👻 Sept
✧Goodreads✧
You can unmod it by taking it out of your armory OR replacing the mods with other mods. Note that any mods you had on there will be lost.
Thanks, so once you use a mod.. it is used?
[center] 🌹 👻 Sept
✧Goodreads✧
nYup. It's on that weapon for the long haul unless you want other mods and that mod disappears.
Once it is on a weapon you cannot get the mod back. Which is why I suggest waiting until higher tiers for the more expensive mods.
Thanks, I'm just asking questions as they come. ;)
I don't know if this a battle question or not but who is Major Drills?

✧Goodreads✧
That's fine, I should be able to answer most questions. If not, I'm sure others can (: It's indirectly a battle question :p He has annoying quests. By completing like 600 of them, you unlock him as a challenger. Other than that he isn't related to battling :p
I can't seem to see the Phoenix Quill in the MC?
Where can I find out more about scrolls and how to make them? Is there any point in me doing them for T3?
