I'm very very new, and I was browsing through the Adopt R US when I came across this pet. I have never seen it, and I have read all the guides and wikia's/lists I have been recommended/linked to. So if anyone would be so kind as to inform me of this pet's species/color, I would appreciate it very much! ^-^

It's a Common Experiment , you get them through the Zapper V2 in the Darkside =3 THIS is a list of all experiments.

The experiments are altered versions of other species, correct?

Sort of? They certainly seem to be based on existing pets, but you don't need the 'original' to get the experiment, it's random which one the zapper will give you.
