Hello, I hope this is the right board and someone can help out^^ I kind of fell in love with the idea of having a steamwork jollin, but I have no idea about how to name them yet. Right now I have a GA and therefore pet slots, but I heard that creating the pet will take three days. So let's say I need another couple of days to come up with the perfect name for my new pet, and then hand in the instructions and key - if the jollin is not ready by the time my GA expires, what happens to them? Do I get them anyway, do I have to wait until I buy another GA or will they just go to waste? Also, when do I name them? Before or after their creation? If the ladder is the case, maybe it is safest to already hand in the materials?

If you haven't already looked at it, they talk about how to create a steamwork pet here: Frequently Asked Questions and Answers

From the section talking about how to build a Steamwork pet:

Quote

3. Take your schematic and Yunium Key to Yun Enterprises - Full Steam Ahead and place the order for your pet to be built. The building of your Steamwork pet will take 2-3 days, and you will be notified when it is completed.

You will be asked to supply a name when you place an order for the pet to be built. You can go ahead and create your schematics well ahead of time. I don't know what will happen if your GA runs out after you start the process though. (I keep a GA all the time.) Perhaps someone else can answer that question.

[edit] Someone addressed the GA expiration question here: ">A topic from 2011 stated:

Quote
I actually had this situation when I created my steamwork sheeta. I sent a ticket and the answer I got was that if my GA was expired before the pet was completed, I would not receive the pet. So you may want to invest in another week GA. Although if you want to be absolutely sure they haven&;t changed their policy on it since then, by all means, file a ticket.

Thanks for finding that topic from 2011 :) Is there a trick to find such old questions? Well, I guess it's better to wait until I have another GA medal. Also thanks for explaining how to build it, I had already looked it up, only the pet slot issue wasn't addressed on that topic^^

I just used site search on Goggle by putting site:subeta.net before the word or phrase I want to look up. Sometimes I am lucky and search the right thing... Sometimes I have to ask for help myself.

Anyway, it was no problem. Glad I could help. :)

I just created a steamwork harvester. I put my order in the day we got that free day of GA. Three days later I got an alert saying I didn't have enough pet slots for him so visit Ian when I got some. It also said they will hold the pet for a week if I remember correctly and if I didn't claim it before then they will reuse him as spare parts. Naturally I raced to buy a week of GA and claimed him. :D So just to give you a recent experience, what Aeon found is still the way things are. :)

Awesome, it's good to know that they don't trash the pet immidiately but give an extra week to get the slot. I was kinda worried about that. Thanks for sharing the information and congratulations on creating Brodeus, they're lovely :)
