So I'm trying to straighten out species and colors for my various Dragon Age fanpets. I need suggestions for these guys

*Anders. (Based on Anders from DA II) Hydrus feli

*Cullen. (Based on Cullen from Origins, DA II, and Inquisition)-Currently a reborn archan but I'm not sure whether I'm feelin it. Storm Archan

*Broody (Based on Fenris from DA II) Glacier Telenine

*Blackwall (Based on Blackwall from Dragon Age: Inquisition)-Probably going to be an Irion of some sorts but I'm open to suggestions Nightmare Irion?

*Antivan (Based on Zevran from Origins)-Most likely a lain of some sorts but, again, I'm open to suggestions Sweetheart Jollin

Plus two non-DA pets *Flurries (Elsa fanpet)-Currently a cream Noktoa

*Godswood (Jon Snow fanpet)-Currently a glacier kumos but tbh that color (and species) is dying for updated artwork so I'm pondering a change inb4 get an overlay. That'll happen at some point but I'm sick of looking at him.

I got so lucky, snagging Blackwall. I think I got it shortly before Inquisition was released but I can't check because I didn't make a new pet, I changed one of my other pet names.

Anders: First thing that comes to mind is a Feli/cat of some sort just because of his cat Ser-pounce-a-lot.

Cullen: Something powerful looking like an Common Experiment maybe even a Common Experiment

Broody: For Fenris first type of pet to me creams Kumos, wolf of some type. Perhaps storm or galactic since they have markings?

Blackwall: If you go Irion maybe a bloodred one to go with all the blood splatters of the game. xD Thinking that or Reborn since it looks really strong and proud plus in theory we could say the Wardens are "reborn" LOL

Antivan: Common Experiment maybe? Thinking for some reason something brown/tan coloured. Plus that experiment can be considered sly? IDK...

Flurries: Needs to be something Glacial. For some reason a Legeica is the first species to mind.

Godswood: Maybe make em glacier. WINTER IS COMING.

For Anders. I second the idea of something cat like. <3 When I had an Anders fan pet I think I had him as a hydrus pet (because of their faces and Anders's face when Justice takes over).

For Antivan/Zev I'd say that I like the sound of a nostalgic lain, but I don't like the art for the nostalgic lain as much as I'd hoped. XD

for broody, i definitely think a kumos would be good. I think glacier, bloodred, or storm to be good. I'm personally a fan of glacier due to the coloration and posing.

for antivan, i definitely think a lain would be good, especially if you want to reference the crows. i'm just not really a fan of any of the lain's poses and expressions for his particular character. nightmare and bloodred would obviously work for a crow look, though. i second aerith's idea of cream, though, if you don't want to go for a crow look!

i like the idea of an irion for blackwall, but it's another one of those cases where i don't really like the expressions for the character (my constant struggle with pets, to be honest)?? ;___; i like the idea of reborn conceptually, but with an overlay.

for cullen, i definitely think an archan would be good!! i really like storm since the pose reminds me of a specific part of the game, but i also like the darkmatter's posing (not so much the darkness of the darkmatter, though)!

i like the glacier kumos for godswood, personally! maybe arid if you're not feeling the glacier.

You mentioned markings and wolves in terms of fenris and I had a brain blast. The celinox is pretty wolf-like imo. The back reminds me of Lyrium and the markings are pretty boss. I'm possibly thinking a Glacier Celinox for Broody, not sold though.

AHHHH. I LOVE HOW SASSY Experiment is. So Zevran. My only issue is the zapper hates my guts so I'd have to get a miracle potion 2.

As far as Anders. goes, I originally thought Feli or Tigrean but I can't decide what color. I'm tempted to do a Chibi or Nostalgic Tigrean for the lulz but I can't bring myself to do it.

I didn't even consider hydrus pets, so thanks for that! I'm not a fan of the Archan, Feli, or Tigrean as a hydrus pet though. Hydrus is freaking perfect for Fenris though. Dem markings. I had thought about finding a pet who is justice-y looking but I'm not sold on the hydrus pet.

I WISH THE ART ON A TON OF PETS WAS UPDATED. DEAR LORD SOME OF IT IS OLD WHICH MAKES ME NOT WANT TO USE IT. I'll end up with overlays for all most likely, but I don't want ugly pets when I don't have them. The struggle is real. I feel like faces are an area where a lot of pets are lacking tbh, so I feel your pain.

I was contemplating Storm Archan for Anders, but it's definitely more suited for Cullen.

My Inquisitor's name is taken, stumbled upon Lethallan in the pound one day and I snatched her up so fast. Made Lethallin today to serve as a Solas pet. ; 3 ; I haven't finished the game yet because I kept ditching Inquisitors because their fugliness was annoying me. I should show you my Inquisitor. I'm actually planning on playing all the way through with her because I love how she turned out. Hoping to be done by the end of this month or the first week of April. Going to play tomorrow night and saturday during the day, same next week, and then the following week is my spring break and I'll play like crazy.

I haven't beaten it yet either LMAO. I managed to get 130 hours in during my winter break, but then school started back up so I wasn't able to touch it much. My spring break just started, so I'm ready to power through the last 20 to 30 so hours once I knock out commissions!! You should definitely show me your inquisitor ;___; I love seeing people's Inquisitors. They're all perfect, like I'm madly in love with 's inquisitor.

I have an obsession with hydrus pets. XD Nearly all of my pets were hydrus at one point. <3 Nuclear might be another Justice-y pet type. The nuclear pets look a tad too happy though. XD

Anders If you're feeling Feli maybe do Reborn because fire magic, plus it stands proud. Also occurred to me that Clawsions are kinda cat like, I like the reborn for that one as well. Tigrean I would lean more towards Galactic because it looks mischievous or Darkmatter because of the serious grabby pose.

I have Milan (Ferldan) and Hektor (Orlesian) who are both my grey warden RPG characters. Probably you can find some inspiration in their TCs for Blackwalls TC.

Also probably you could add some of the Lord items into his TC cause of his Orlesian past. Bloodred or NM Irion could suit him quite well =).
