I was wondering two things. First, why duplicate shop names are allowed -- it's confusing. Duplicate names aren't allowed for other things. Second -- is there any "short cut" to tell which shop is which without going to them?

I don't know why duplicate shop names are allowed, but no, you have to go to the shop to see which is which. Unless of course, you can memorize the shop ID, you can hover over the shop name in the SS to see which one it is.

Thanks for hover idea! I never would have thought of that. I can probably just memorize the last few digits…

EDIT: Either hovers are broken at the moment, or it's no longer possible to do that. I guess that means it's time to think up plan B.

the info would show up in the bottom of the browser. not like an actual item hover.

There's nothing that changes anywhere on the page except an underline showing the shop name is a link.

You may need to drag that into a new tab to see it, but the red box is what she means. That box should appear any time you hover over a link anywhere on the internet. It shows you the exact address the link you're hovering over leads to.

I don't get it. I can right click and copy the address link, open link in a new window, etc… but it doesn't preview. I do not get the red box you have highlighted. I never have anything show up at the bottom of the page like that.

Yeah -- I don't have anything even remotely like that.

That's so strange. What browser do you use? They should all do it, but I know for certain Firefox and Chrome do it.

Yeah, I honestly don't care about duplicate shop names. There's someone else who has the same shop name as me and I'm just like "hell yes more Trekkies" (my shop is called Ten-Forward, after the Enterprise-D's bar). The only reason I can think of for banning us from having the same shop name as someone else is so that it's easier to avoid the shops of people you don't like, lol.
