Hi all! I know some people on here are well versed in the mysterious ways of Paypal, I am not. I had an account limited with over $400 USD in it, sent in my info and they straight up won't lift the limit. Made me almost sob. It's only limited for 45 days, but still that's just too long. Anyone else have a bad experience with Paypal?

The only thing I don't like about Paypal is how they take a small percentage of what you make. I don't think anyone should get any part of something I worked for. Don't get me started on taxes, lol.

When I signed up for Paypal (in June) it asked me for a photo ID, proof of address, and proof of SSN. Which really weirded me out. Luckily I sent a scan of my paystub that doesn't have my full SSN on it. But most people don't even need to send in all that info. It was like, geez, what did I do wrong. I hadn't even been signed up for 5 minutes.

Thank you!

Since I assume quite a few people here play Neopets... currently buying any NC (currency on Neopets that you buy with real money) through paypal results in absolutely no NC being credited to your account, and the staff won't do a single thing about it. c:

So that's my current nightmare.

I set up my account many years ago now, and back then I never needed to send them any of that jazz. But I just discovered recently, after getting married and changing my name, that if I want my PayPal account to reflect my new married last name, I have to send all sorts of legal documentation for them to accept the change. I haven't done it 'cause it honestly seems kinda skuzzy to me (opening myself up to identity theft doesn't sound like fun); I just hope having my old (no longer legal) last name attached to my account doesn't come to bite me later down the line.
